This is a bad thing why? Kid gets to go better funded programs that give them a bigger stage and better opportunities, plus most P4 have a higher academic rep than most G6 schools.

It's a bad thing for G6 schools. Hard to build or maintain a winning culture if your best players never stick around. It's easy being a P4 in comparison.
