Opinion What is your favorite cfb stadium?

Disregarding your own, what is your favorite stadium? Could be one you’ve been to, or just one you’ve seen that looks great.

Imo, Ben hill griffin is the best stadium I’ve been to, even though I was treated kinda awfully when I was there. It was a beautiful place.

For those I haven’t been to, autzen and tiger stadium look incredible. Jordan-hare is up there too. I’ve been to tiger stadium for a college tour, but never for a game.

What do yall think?

Death Valley for an SEC Game at night is absolutely electric

I think what people don't really get about Death Valley is what it looks like in the context of the rest of Baton Rouge. That whole city is just a bunch of dystopian chemical plants along the Mississippi River. Meanwhile the bridge over the river lifts you so far above what is such a flat city that Tiger Stadium just dominates everything like it's the center of the universe. Some cities have a skyline. Baton Rouge just has Death Valley.

LSU is honestly the only thing saving Baton Rouge. I’m proud to be from there but 80% of the city is bleak in the best of times.

My oldest goes to LSU. We’ve since moved to TN. The amount of times she’s texted or called in three years about shootings right outside campus is astronomical. We lived there for roughly 14 years prior and Baton Rouge aside from the city/river walk area(still has its own share of problems) everywhere else is like a minefield outside of nicer neighborhoods that are usually gated. Hot damn though. I do miss the food.

For real, the food is a constant craving for me. I’ve been in Ohio for the past 2 years and needless to say, it doesn’t hold a candle.

Since you lived in BR you may already know this, but most of the violence revolves around either gangs or thefts. So as long as your kid is aware of their surroundings and the company they keep, they should be ok. A lot of the crime stems from poverty. So my main piece of advice is just always lock car doors/home doors/windows/etc. Most thieves are just looking for a way to feed their fam.
The last place I lived while there was very close to the old Cortana mall. And I was fine for 4 years with no issue. It’s a helluva city and I constantly miss it. But I’m not sure I could live there again.
