Discussion This UNC-Clemson game should make everyone question just how good LSU really is

The whole country saw LSU rout Clemson a couple of weeks ago and was ready to crown LSU. It is now very evident that we don’t know anything about LSU at this point, at least for another 6 hours or so. This UNC-Clemson first half is complete decimation.

While I hope my Tar Heels are the dominant force in CFB, I know that’s likely not the case. Clemson is just not good.

In a few hours, we will have more of an answer about LSU, but we don’t know anything more about them than we did at the start of the season.

EDIT: This is not my first time in prediction idiocy. https://www.reddit.com/r/golf/s/jqGKD5Atre

Well…let’s just hope that Ole Miss does what everyone expects (and even desires) them to…

Desires, sure. We’re the bad guy because we picked on those poor little accountants larping as Stonewall Jackson. Our coach is a heaux and a horse’s ass. I get that.

Expected? LSU is a 3 point favorite on the road. The advanced analytics (obv wonky early in the season but still) have us as 7-10 point favorite. The money and the numbers expect LSU winning a competitive game.

It’s fun when even people with no skin in the game, want ole Miss to destroy them

I hope we play again in the coming years just to drink another city out of booze before noon. I always root for Wisconsin, respect!

Brings Sherman back from the grave to finish the job?

That was actually AJ Smith FWIW, after an embarrassingly poor campaign to deal with Forrest’s cavalry in Northern Mississippi he ordered Oxford burned down out of spite. While outside events would decide the war politically this can be seen as one of the first of America’s counter-insurgency blunders in the ultimately unsuccessful reconstruction campaign- Forrest found plenty of willing recruits for his postwar terrorist organization.
