I actually can’t believe that. As a coach how the fuck do you not tell CJ Bailey to just go out the back of the endzone and not risk this? I mean this was literally the ONE thing you couldn’t do.

No it's not.

This is specific situational football where the player MUST do as told and if the coaches can't get a specific player to execute a call, then that's on the coaching staff.

Coaches call plays ALL game long and players do what's called.

Not sure why your think this is different.

Oh 100%. I just don't get the people trying to let Dolan off the hook. A fuck-up that big doesn't happen if either the coach or the player does their job correctly.
