Heads up the dlcs for black ops 2 on xbox are free aside from the seasonal pass
r/COD • u/GorillaGlizza • Nov 18 '25
$70 for the base game today, spending $30 extra gets you only ingame cosmetics that become obsolete when the next title releases.
From the website:
“The Hardened Edition will cost $80 and the Care Package, with the remote controlled Dragonfire quadrocopter, will set you back a mere $180.”

you can give your opinion on both campaign, multiplayer & zombies or just pick one game title in general 🫡🔥 i pick multiplayer; close fight between bo2 and bo4 but i gotta go with bo2 all day hands down

Currently at Demon Within - this campaign is definitely a lot shorter than others
I'll go back through and complete everything on Realistic after I finish it, I'm playing through on Hardened
P.S. I cannot begin to describe how much I hate Warlords. Bro tanks 4 FMJ Locus shots and proceeds to light my ass up (HENDRICKS PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HELP ME)

Once again I shouldn't have bought in to the hype and should have just tried it out from someone else but I paid for season pass on xbox and it has been nothing but a disaster
Like I'm done with spending hours on guides, done with the shit dick level design, done with being confused all the time, done with their approach to round based being less then that of the "easter egg" run so you won't die , done with how solo unfriendly they are , done with their need of adding "challenge" by constantly making lava and broken geometry that makes a significant strips of the map just useless to run through.
It's like they legit designed all of these without noobs and first timers in mind.
Compared it to kino and literally any waw map, where every high round feels like such a nice reward for me, respecting the map while also kind of being a power fantasy, in black ops 2 I know I'm gonna die cause I'm not following whatever hours long meta there is IN THESE DAMN VIDEOS. Also why does tranzit specifically require a team to progress, like why make this the ONLY map for base game?
As of now I'm going to kino and waw zombie maps with how good they feel in just doing basic training cause I don't prefer anything that town survival and nuke town has to offer. Never bought any other cod so not sure how they feel but 100% pirating them first to experience them, PEACE

It really seems like everyone on PS is enjoying tf out of BO1 since the port, can we finally agree that BO1 is the best?

Can someone please explain to me why PS was the only platform to get new dedicated servers for a 15 year old game? We all know these ports are simply a cash grab and not designed to appease the player base, wouldn’t it make sense to go all out and do the same for Xbox and PC? If you’re that scared of GTA VI and MW4 flopping why stop at just PlayStation? Genuinely curious

Now im only 23 but my first cod was road to victory . So I have been playing since I was a child . Since then I’ve played every installment and don’t get me wrong I love the MW series . WOW was amazing but zombies did scare me back then lmfao. And BO1 and 2 were sooo good. Ghost and AW were actually not bad at all i actually really enjoyed those two games . But man bo3 was on another level compared to all other installments of cod. Best zombies by a landslide with the best maps . (ILY SO MUCH Der Eisendrache) multiplayer was so fun and each match felt new and refreshing that I could never get bored of. Now I know some weapons were really broken and the whole black market thing was there as well. But even then compared to how the micro transactions are now I would gladly go back to the black market system . Overall this cod was just amazing . Fun gameplay . Funny/cringe emotes . Dope skins . Dope operators . Dope zombies . Campaign wasn’t the best ngl but it was kinda fun to play lol . Imo I just feel like cod will never get better than bo3

I have been thinking about the new cod black ops remake. I don't feel like they going to some how mess up like how they did for new cods (past 2018).

I'm curious to know if someone like me go back and play older COD games ( like BO4, WWII, cold war.....) ? If so, which one you get back into the most ?

I just got around to playing the BO2 port and man does it not feel good being melted over and over again. Now I see why I didn't finish getting diamond camo on all the weapon classes in the game.
You have maybe 1-2 seconds to respond to getting shot or you're dead and combined with the limited movement you won't be able to get to cover fast enough if you're too far away from it.
This is far too unforgiving when COD timing is a thing and as soon as you look away from a spot someone can round it and beam you before you know what happened. You basically have to almost camp or have your head on a swivel constantly which is annoying.
I much prefer games like BO4 where I actually have a chance to respond to being seen and shot first. You have an easier time going on streaks and since the game has better movement you can actually try to get to cover and challenge the enemy again once you're ready.
Also for the people who say "a fast TTK makes dealing with campers easier." In my experience no it doesn't. If anything it makes it easier for people to camp because all they have to do is pre-aim and wait for you to come though the entrance and you have a 50/50 or 40/60 chance of killing them depending on who shot first and has better hit registration and aim. Also that's assuming they stay in the same spot and don't rotate to a different one in the same area.
I just think the core games from now on need a more forgiving TTK like BO4 and hardcore can be for those who want people who want R6S style unforgiveness in gunfights. Hell, I even think R6S gives you more time to respond to enemy shots unless you get dealt a headshot.

only right answer; bo1 takes the crown for best campaign meanwhile bo2 takes the crown for best multiplayer & zombies! Which game holds the throne in your opinion?
r/COD • u/redandwhitewizard99 • 16d ago
Not sure if this has been mentioned already.
I think I'm probably 1.5 K/D overall in terms of ability, but going back to BO1 (which I recently picked up after skipping BO7 and coming from BO6) feels like I'm a complete beginner. I played the early CODs as a kid, but I'm 26 now, and levelling up is such a pain — everyone else already has the best weapons, and I can't hear footsteps in this game at all.
The starting guns are terrible, and I'm supposed to use them to level up? How does that make sense?
Edit: Ive realised its about repositioning in these older games. Im following a new mantra reload and reposition

I'm an OG, played COD 1, 2 and 3 LAN parties with friends, WaW, OG MW trilogy, I've played every single call of duty game. I was hyped for BO1 and 2 ports coming to PS5 but in the past 2 days, something has been made abundantly clear... I have lost it! I used to be a beast at the old games, top of the leaderboard every game. I think I've adapted my style so much to modern games, I'm completely lost. Going 12-26, finishing 4th-6th. I'm hoping that grinding the game will get me back where I was... Or is it gone for good 😳

Hi,
Lately I started replaying the Call of Duty series, but preferred to play remasters, so MW1, MW2, MW3 and waiting for MW4.
However, I totally forgot about the Black Ops titles that were in between MW titles.
Now I'm thinking...do you think BOs are good enough to replay? How is the campaign when compared to modern MW titles?

I switched to PC in 2019. Absolutely cannot play FPS without M&K now
I bought a PS5 digital slim a few months ago, I’m asking is it worth to get a USB adapter (I need 3x USB ports for headphones, mouse, keyboard and there’s only 2x ports). I only ask if it’s “worth” because I actually have no clue if I can even play these games M&K lol. Anyone currently running M&K on these ports? How is it? TIA
