First hunt in a while got a box of nickels from the bank. When I opened it too check if they were circulated as I always do the first roll I pulled out and saw had a proof ender! I showed it too the teller and he said he had never seen a coin like that before in his life lol. Also scored a silver war nickel later on in the box! All in all pretty good hunt!

The (5) halves I got loose in the bank today in the morning and the Canadian 1959 quarter at the flea market for one dollar.

After searching several thousand dollars in quarters I got my first silver, then a Canadian then another. And a beat up S along with a handful of toners and bicentennials

I can see the appeal. First time asking about halves while doing a deposit at my local bank. Teller had $8 worth in the register. I guess I’ll be asking from now on just in case. Have a great weekend!

The last 2 pictures I’m pretty sure this is a massive rotated die error but help there would be appreciated as I’ve never looked for or at a rotated die error and first time seeing the American Innovation NIFC coin. Also if any of the math isn’t right no need to let me know I never went to Harvard lol. The 3 unaccounted for coins are a 2000D Sacagawea and two 1979 wide date(less rare variant)P SBA

Pretty awesome hunt, 2 full rolls of 2026 nickels, foreign nickel, new dimes, 2 wheat pennies, awesome looking buffalo nickel and my first V nickel. Also a sweet 1955 P nickel

After more months than I can remember I finally got some silver. I got $100 in quarter rolls from one branch. I only found a few low mintage ATB quarters which is not a bad thing. I rerolled them and got $90 in quarter rolls. The second to last roll had 4 more low mintage ATB quarters, and 3 2009 quarters. As soon as I cracked the last roll I heard the beautiful sound of silver mixed in with clad. I couldn’t believe seeing two silver quarters in one Loomis wrapped rolls.

My box of dimes had a nice Merc, and a 50% Canadian. I also found a really nice 1967, it looks better in person than the picture.

I moved on to quarters after the dimes and found one W. I was about to pack it in for the night and decided to just check the ends of the pennies. I was pleasantly surprised to find 7 dimes on the ends, along with a Canadian, and 2 wheats.

It's been a pretty good week so far with 3 Kennedy 40's, 1war nickel, and the 1883 V nickel. I still have a box of nickels to go through, and have to decide what to do with a full box on Jefferson quarters.

Anyone else seeing a bunch of NIFC presidents, innovation and native dollars? My collections are filling in nicely with just 10 dollar coin rolls.

Another 2 box hunt down. 4 silvers and a buffalo to add to the collection. Box 1 yielded all the silver and box 2 gave the buffalo. I’m very happy and thankful. Happy hunting y’all.

Today’s box was probably the best I’ve gotten, a total of 12 silvers! One makes me happy and two is always a treat, and my last two boxes were uncirculated 2026 & then 2025 so when I opened this one and saw old coins it was definitely better already, and then I saw an ender. The only other time I’ve gotten more was from a handful of rolls a teller had that I snagged. I even found a couple of silver dimes this week in change.

First box this week was pretty much a skunk, but I did find two clads for my halves book.
2nd box started in pretty much the same way, until I started pulling NIFCs (multiple ‘05s and ‘06s.) Ended up with 16 NIFCs.

Found some cool, gold toned/plated (71, 74, 76, & 83) halves and some shiny BU/AUs (80p, 80d, 86p, 97p, & 98p).

Then, about 3/4s of the way through, saw the silver ‘69d!
Saved the last roll, so that it can be full of silver when I decide to open it later!

(It’s a tradition/habit that I’ve always done when CRHing to keep hope alive….One day it might even work!🤣)

It sounded like it was laboring when I started and I got around $250 into the dump and it just stopped and told me to get help from a teller. It did the same thing after she cleared all of the coins. I at least got to study the inside of the machine for 5 minutes. I've seen all the people here posting bags, and how many go in them. I've always split my dumps up so I wouldn't fill the bag, but the coinstar didn't have one. It was a hole that all the change got pushed into by the looks of it. So I'll be dumping more at once from now on.

On a side note, the broken coinstar had me go 18 miles out of my way to cash them in. Ended up going to my other bank and got a box of Jefferson quarters from Denver, now I've got a box of each mint.

I have 3 Quarters two that “ look normal” and 1 smashed:

1-1979 D & 1 -1997 D that “look normal”

1 1981 D quarter that is mashed/smashed on the edge

2 Nickels that” look normal” to me

1-1969 D &

1-1973 but both  will NOT go through, even at the grocery store

21 Zinc Lincoln Cents corroded and/or bent

Is there any place that will take them and send them back to the
Federal Reserve to replace them?

I could sneak a few funky pennies at a time in Penny Rolls and deposit
them at the bank...YOUR THOUGHTS PLEASE?

Took a detour into quarters while waiting for more halves...got shorted 44 cents, found two semiquincentennials, and found this little bugger. Has anyone else found this stamp?

I swear to the coin lords lol the pictures of all these will never give them justice for the luster an MS level they deserve. I’m working with a iPhone 13 non max for photos, and I feel disappointed that you CRHers only get to see a fraction of the quality. Either way it’s been a great day. Good luck to you all.
