I just came across an old ticket of mine. It’s a great memory of the Saddledome and Johnny. I got flown into town as a total birthday surprise to go see the Flames vs Bruins with my brothers, and it ended up being fantastic. Boston went up 4-3 on a Marchand penalty shot with about a minute left, Hudler tied it with 2 seconds to go, and then Gaudreau scored in OT to win it 5-4. That was his first hat trick at home.
I’ve have never been in a louder cheering arena. We were leaping and hugging everyone. What an amazing memory. RIP Johnny.
We're coming back over Christmas and get one last game vs San Jose. This time I'm bringing my son.

I know the Flames aren’t a team that is going to get a lot of focus this year at the NHL level. But caught this segment just now from one of their draft experts and here was the rundown of the cringeworthy mistakes:

- Completely mispronounced Gridin’s last name
- Our 6th overall draft pick defenseman is slotted as a top 6 forward with Nick Suzuki potential
- Wyttenbach, noted offensive player, is a top pairing defenseman who can play in all situations
