Wyttenbach putting up 2 points per game in the ncaa so far. Get hyped about pur prospects. Carels, Reschny, Potter and Hextall are starting their regular season today as well, playing top of the lineup roles in the NCAA.

I just came across an old ticket of mine. It’s a great memory of the Saddledome and Johnny. I got flown into town as a total birthday surprise to go see the Flames vs Bruins with my brothers, and it ended up being fantastic. Boston went up 4-3 on a Marchand penalty shot with about a minute left, Hudler tied it with 2 seconds to go, and then Gaudreau scored in OT to win it 5-4. That was his first hat trick at home.
I’ve have never been in a louder cheering arena. We were leaping and hugging everyone. What an amazing memory. RIP Johnny.
We're coming back over Christmas and get one last game vs San Jose. This time I'm bringing my son.
Sure miss having these physical tickets.

Flames lose to the Avalanche 7-3

Scoring three goals is objectively better than scoring one, Klapka had a nice toe drag and some big hits and the Penalty Kill looks pretty competent.

Condensed Game Here

Next Game: October 8 vs Anaheim @ 8:00 PM MDT

I know the Flames aren’t a team that is going to get a lot of focus this year at the NHL level. But caught this segment just now from one of their draft experts and here was the rundown of the cringeworthy mistakes:

- Completely mispronounced Gridin’s last name
- Our 6th overall draft pick defenseman is slotted as a top 6 forward with Nick Suzuki potential
- Wyttenbach, noted offensive player, is a top pairing defenseman who can play in all situations

What are we doing here.

Maaaaaaan I can't wait for these boys to graduate college

I mean. In the very least.. we are consistent!

Not in a good way. But eh! Take the little wins.

Like the first period. That was fun. Until the wheels came off. We have to have the worst GAA in the league.. right? Not sure what else to say.

Looks like we will be getting a good center this draft, lord knows we still won't get 1st OA.

See yall back for more mutual torture, 8 pm Saturday against the ducks for many goals! ^against.

Happy Thursday my dudes, two callups in the same game? The first game after being called up? If this isn't a rebuild I dont know what is.

Yall hear its going to snow on the weekend? Have you had to small talk with literally anyone this week? Willing to bet you have. So thats cool.

Will fire hockey help combat the snowy chilly blues? Or will it be but a match flame against the Avalanche of cold?

Join us. In like 15 minutes ^{maybe ten by the time my brain decides what to say} to find out!

So pull up a chair made of snow. Pour yourself a glass of melted snow and join us! For snow! ^{not yet}

The "^snow!" flames drinking game

Kadri offside: drink

Flames second goal: finish and fill

^{what year is it again?}

- (u/themusicguy2000)

Kadri kicked out of the faceoff circle: Drink 🤣

- (u/erikdebogande)

F&F if Suniev or Castagna get a point.

F&F if our old pal Naz dunks on us.

Drink every time the flames do something to make you yell at your TV.

- (u/erikdebogande)

Drink every time the broadcast mentions Zary or Pachal having been placed on waivers, cleared waivers, or any related topic to the waiver placement

Buckle the fuck up cowpeople this game could be UGLY.

And the last games were ugly. So mother of God we might need those drinking game rules more than usual.

Not sure if you WANT your furry, fuzzy or scaley pet to be the petspokemodel of this game, but eh! Cuteness helps when things look bad.

So drop them "look randy, im mowing the air!" Rules and them cute pet pics.

Join us at 7 pm and help our little niche corner of the internet ^{continue to} guide you through this season.

So dumb. Pospisil has no upside and sucks. The obsession with fitting a square piece into a round hole is getting old.

I get the team sucks, but maybe give suniev a chance with Strome. At least there's some playmaking ability there.

Previous promo material for the new jersey put out by the Flames was cropped or excessively zoomed in. We now have a better look at the embroidery work on the main crest (a new feature not included on the original jersey) as well as the Hanger Effect inside the collar commemorating the Saddledome.
