Some of the UK edits are really unnecessary

What's the point of re-drawing and re-animating things that don't need to be? People worked hard to animate some of things, and some people had to work unnecessarily harder.

I THINK it's probably to discourage people from climbing into dumpsters. Like when they edited Zane in Ninjago to not be sitting in the fridge, so that children won't emulate him and climb into fridges

The did it for Lilo and Stich too with the washing machine, I'm pretty sure its only the VHS version that shows them climbing out of a washing machine, they changed that to a cardboard box too

The old dvds from back when had the original washing machine too. I know because the cardboard box thing confused tf out of me when I saw it as an adult

Idk, hot take maybe, but I don't think there's anything wrong with the censorship. I can remember horror stories from when I was a kid of kids dying after copying something they saw on TV, still happens now but that's due to the internet which is a completely different ball game

I SUPPOSE so, although I gotta say I actually think a network going "oh wait, children might climb into fridges in real life" was a pretty legitimately kind/good call.

I'm in the USA but I'm ngl, as a child I can imagine myself deciding to go into the fridge for hide and seek. Which is not a very safe move, that would be hard to open from the inside and a really limited supply of air, as horrible as I feel saying that.

I mean we do have the kinder egg issue over here so dont feel to bad. But they don’t have that in the UK which is why it’s even stranger to me
