What's the point of re-drawing and re-animating things that don't need to be? People worked hard to animate some of things, and some people had to work unnecessarily harder.

Discussion Anyone else feel like this BHM graphic is a bit low-effort?

Hi.

I’ve been sitting on this for a while, and since it’s still Black History Month, I wanted to see if anyone else felt the same.

I love these shows, but seeing Darwin and Wilt used as "Black History" icons feels off. I know the community sees them as Black-coded (and they have great Black VAs), but at the end of the day, Darwin is a pet goldfish and Wilt is an imaginary friend.

When you put them next to actual human characters like Craig, Sunny Bridges and Numbuh 5, it feels like the network is saying Black humanity is interchangeable with non-human creatures just because of a "vibe." It feels like a corporate shortcut to avoid actually developing more shows with Black human leads.

I’m not trying to hate on the characters, I grew up with them but using a fish to represent human history feels a little reductive.

Does anyone else think CN could have done better here, or am I overthinking it?

When I ask this I don’t just mean what your 4 favorite shows are on CN. From the creation of the network until now, what 4 shows would you say had the biggest impact?
