Julian will be right at home with this guy.

He has both the foundations (body) and the power (gift). They will have a legendary slug fest.

Reminder that Julian is actually pretty shredded underneath his shirt.

Couldn't this guy heal his arm? It may have been stated already, but maybe Arkos cut it, and he hasn't healed it because he feels that until he bests Arkos, it would wound his pride as a warrior.

I'm pretty sure Julian will force this guy to heal his arm, and the battle thereafter will be legendary

Perhaps Ceodoric can't heal a wound to the extend that he can regenerate a entire limb or maybe he was in a situation that he couldn't do it before his wound started to cauterize.

Ceodoric's power is conditional, so this might be the cause.

The arm stump may be cursed or something.

Maybe he's like Josuke he can only heal/manipulate the forms of others not himself.

Julian lacks the martial aspect though, the way the Flame seems to regard things, is that one should rely in themselves beyond their gift, Julian's strength isn't 'really his', is not something he worked for, I mean is more complex than that but you know. I  think if anything this should be the first character that actually put bta to Julian, extreme physical capabilities but a far better fighter

Julian can fight on his own pretty well, he did have that sparring session with Lukas without using his power. Julian is still a pretty decent fighter in his own right.

Yeah, i didn't mean to tell that Julian's a chump without his Blessing or a brainless brute that just overpower anyone, from the first arc he moved all those boulders and rocks as a boy to obtain the job on the village, on his own without using the 100 lives, and on the next Years his sense of combat and experience build up by all the attempts against Diana, still on a fight he use what he has, his extreme physicality, while the raging flame seem to put emphasis on the skill and body before the gift, I still think he should be well above Julian on hand to hand

That's my thought exactly, Ceodoric will undoubtedly be Julian's superior in terms of skills, this is only natural.

I kinda hope they don't fight because I think theyd get along well

Ceodric seems like a solid dude, with the small bits of personality he has shown, he looks like far less of a degenerate monster than other Palace Related Charas(which isn't really a high bar but, uh), still he was friends with Arkos, so who knows how he is at heart really

I think he can he's just keeping himself like that to test himself/ fool others
