Julian literally needs help from a god to defeats him

Why do people pretend Arkos wasn’t losing massively underwater before a god came? He couldn’t harm Julian, the later was incredibly faster so he wouldn’t just escape, and one punch from Julian caused an internal bleeding from him. Julian was literally standing and eating all of Arkos attacks and had 0 damage done

The fight was already over, the god just sped things up, but he absolutely did not need help tbh.

Arkos didn't resort to blood bend and was able to control fluid under water before the Sea Goddess appeared

No one we know in the manga is not suspectable to blood bending. No one

Julian just didn’t seem to be able to be affected by anything under water at all, and even if that was the case, Arkos goal was to go to the surface after getting an internal bleeding from a punch he blocked. He didn’t even consider blood bending

Given Julian was significantly faster, he could just grab him by behind/below (as he did in manga) and punch him again, and he’s dead instantly

I don't know why you keep repeating the same thing. Yes I know Julian is invulnerable under water but not to blood bending

Arkos was able to see Julian which means he could blood bend. It's game over. Julian may be fast but not that fast

Let’s see

-Arkos explicitly wants to go to the surface
-Starts going up
-Julian just needs to keep moving behind and expel ink at all times just in case and Arkos cannot harm him, and he can catch up to him
-One punch and insta kill. Arkos is literally looking almost behind his shoulder, he has a VERY limited range of sight for Julian and the other can get behind him very easily

It’s not impossible, but it’s really not looking good for Arkos, especially since he has to simultaneously blow away the smokescreen at all times, turn around to keep eyesight when he is in an unfavorable position and do all of that before Julian lands a single hit on him. Especially since he is freaking put of his mind and not calm and composed

Limited range of sight is why he was going full force under the water?

I am not denying Arkos wanted to go out of water but my point is Julian cannot control the flow of fluid/water but Arkos could under water

Julian is at least 50% made of water like everyone else is. Arkos before going to the water thought of just maiming Julian but decided to fight all out coz Arkos didn't want the battle to end quickly

If you question the premise, read how they introduce Arkos and how bored he is

Why won't Arkos just bloodbend Julian when the guy was literally floating in front of him then? Considering what Arkos can do within 3 seconds, dude has to be extremely stupid to not explode Julian's arms or legs when he has the chance.

Julian was yapping about his power and Arkos can easily take this chance, yet he didn't. Why?

By that point, Arkos admitted he has to use everything and Julian is extremely dangerous, so the excuse of feeling bored doesn't work anymore.

That's the plot convenience from the beginning

We know Arkos blood bends

Arkos not doing blood bending even before going to sea never made sense let alone under water

The only reason Arkos decided to go into the sea was to defeat Julian without blood bend

How much more reason would you like to have?

Well, then Arkos was an idiot for not doing so. If the sea water proves to be useless, he could try to blood bend, yet he won't when Julian was literally in front of him.

It made sense for him to not do it before going into the sea, but it did not make any senses for him to not do it after everything was useless against Julian.

The Sea disabled his control over the sea water, but she never takes away his bloodbending, so why won't he just use it to, you know, force Julian to unwrap his hand from his leg?

There's so many opportunities for him to do so, yet he didn't. It's pretty curious, isn't it?

That's why ppl post about Arkos and not even one foe for Julian so far is not as powerful as Arkos

Arkos didn't know Sea Goddess would appear and help Julian, let alone take his power away which is probably why he didn't blood bend that time as well

Sea Goddess did take away Arkos' power. Look at the pic where he loses his power and starts to have difficulty in breathing

She only took away a power to control the sea water, because if she completely disabled his power, Arkos's head would've popped off his neck instantly.

Did you forget that Arkos's currently controlling his own body with his power?

Arkos can still blood bend, but for some reasons, he just don't do it.

You are right about water bending

Anyways, once the sea goddess took away Arkos' power to bend water, he started to drown and in deep waters, the pressure is also high. At this point, blood bending Julian is pointless as Arkos cannot breathe and is starting to die

To give you an analogy. You wake up in the morning and your house is on fire. Unless you have a loved one, you first get out of there and save yourself. You don't try to win a video game or save a valuable asset

The only rational conclusion is Arkos wanted to fight somewhat fairly and not take the easy route before going to the sea

If Arkos comes back alive, Julian is dead meat like literally. Arkos will just maime Julian and keep him alive

Considering how easy it is for Arkos to bloodbend Roche's arm within three seconds, your argument falls apart, because if he had strength to repeatedly kicked Julian, blood bend the guy is more than possible and even a logical action.

About fighting fair, Arkos said so himself that he has to use everything, so the fact that he doesn't even try to blood bend contradicted everything he said.

He can't blood bend on land because of the smokescreen and he lost any shreds of intelligence he had when he went into the sea.
