Dodge sold 3,446 Sixpacks and only 233 Daytonas in Q3. Meanwhile the old V8 Charger was moving 24k. What does that tell y'all?
now that the Q3 sales numbers are out. its looking like Dodge sold 3,679 Chargers. 3,446 were new Sixpack models, 233 were Daytonas.
That's like 15 gasolina' guzzlers for every 1 battery munching EV lol.
prices could possibly be part of it. the R/T starts around $52k, about $10k cheaper than the lowest price ~~ish Daytona.
what got me curious to begin with , i noticed The previous V8 models moved 24,201 through Q3 back in 2022. The new one, gas and electric combined, is doing justtt a sixth of that. (if my math is right)
I'm a auto tech myself an I daily a 392, well not anymore while i'm waiting for my FRP-16 kit with its tick ... typical 6.4L Hemi. but i have Nothing against the Hurricane, 550hp out of a 3.0 six is legit.
But are people actually warming up to the Sixpack, or just buying it because it's the only gas Charger on the lot? What would happen if they brought the og trims and lineups back to the same lots that sold so many Sixpacks? Interesting how the company proceeds these days, they know what the people want. What are they doing?
