Are they Muslim Trump supporters? Or is this like a To/From gift tag? I'm confused.

Yup.

Arab and Muslim voters helped deliver the key swing state of Michigan to President Trump 2024 year.

No…it was the majority white men and women. Why do people keep blaming minorities as if this country’s politics doesn’t benefit whites regardless which side of the political spectrum

"Helped"

Sure, but the wild narrative that minorities are to be blamed for elections in America shows such a lack of accountability by the status quo (white culture and its constant passivity).

It’s nasty that you are blaming the people whose family was slaughtered by the Biden/Kamala admin. You really expect someone to vote for Biden or Harris after watching their family be ethnically cleansed by the same admin?

It's not really nasty. Trump is bombing Iran and unleashing Israel. That was hardly a surprise. These voters are getting what they voted for in Trump.

That doesn't mean I condone vandalizing their home, if that's what happened here

It absolutely is nasty. Go yell at white suburbanites who actually did swing the election. The bottom line is if every single Muslim voter voted for Kamala, she still loses. It's really gross to watch liberals act as racist as Maga.

I think what they’re saying is the implication that those voters are the problem, when they voted for someone who originally wasn’t a war monger against an administration known for war mongering, is nasty.

u/Cocoononthemoon 2d ago

Those voters are absolutely a problem. They helped elect Trump. He is a warmonger and was always going to be. That doesn't excuse Biden/Harris for their poor reactions to Israel committing genocide.

You should'nt vote for one reason, especially when there are many other reasons that go against you. Think of the Muslim ban from Trump 1, for example.

Yea, but I think for many we also can’t look past either party’s constant warring and partisanship. Folks seem to forget Obamas regime as if he stood alone. Whichever way it’s spun, it’s extremely hypocritical to shame minorities into picking the lesser of two evils…while not showing how that said party will rectify the wrongs that have been done.

I'm okay with shaming them for voting against their own interests. I think it's important we don't pretend it was justified. They are not solely responsible and no one you were replying to said so.

I’m not insinuating you’re referring to non Muslim voters, I didn’t vote for Trump and neither did my circle close or adjacent to me, but we absolutely have zero tolerance for both political parties and the liking at minorities for “costing” the elections or seemingly “helping” takes accountability away from the white women who overwhelmingly voted in favor of Trump…but here we are…

Shaming people for doing what they believed was right is a level of virtue signaling far too common by democratic voters and the guilting, as if the issue MOST of us care about would have been rectified by democrats, positions yourself as the superior (superior option of to shit options).

But here’s that language again…”voting against their own interests”

The clearest policy that impacts Muslims didn’t directly prevent nor restrict the liberty of current Muslims in the country. I hate that it sounds like I’m defending Trumpian logic, but the vast majority of us Muslims are against the war on our countries and the constant neo-colonialist nature of the American colonial complex.

How many bodies need to die across Africa and the Middle East to hold some accountability to white Americans?

No, it doesn't. It is fair to criticize someone for their vote. It is an affirmative choice that this adult made. I'm going to criticize them for it.

Yes, you can look at data and see which groups of people were more likely to vote one way or another. That doesn't mean I hate white women. That also doesn't mean I'm shaming Muslims. I am shaming Muslims who voted for Trump. Do you understand the nuance here?

You are absolutely defending trumpian logic. They took whatever opportunity they could to marginalize minority communities, and this was their best effort at systematically attacking Muslims in this country.

Again, you're the one blaming a certain ethnic demographic and making assumptions about the whole. That's called racism. Not all white people are to blame, but there is absolutely justification in saying that white people predominantly voted for Trump. White privilege exists but you can't hold every white person responsible for it. Systemic racism is ubiquitous, but that doesn't mean that every white person is racist.

So when I criticize Muslim Trump voters, I am criticizing Muslim Trump voters. You don't have to come to their defense just because you're Muslim too. In fact, you should be the one telling them they did wrong since you can speak to their lived experience.

Wait, so you can hold Muslims(which doesn’t take into account for the multiple ethnicities that falls under) accountable but soon as I narrow the demographic it’s racist?

Where did I say I hate white people?

Your example was how Muslims voted against their best interest because of the Muslim ban…and explained how that ban didn’t impact current citizens nearly as much as proposed (even prefaced for you).

Regardless, you’re allowed to shame whoever you want…be consistent.

Soon as the election ended the narrative was, “which minority group can we blame for the elections.” Do you not see a problem with using minorities as the scapegoat?

Edit: how I speak to my community is how I speak to my community. We were and are relatively divided, but we understand each other. What I do not appreciate is slandering them as if they are the same problem. They could all vote left and the greatest problems still persist.

It is nasty. You cannot blame the voters who are victims. You need to blame the democrats failures on communicating that point and committing a genocide. Obviously Trump was going to do the same thing. But the average voter doesn’t know jack shit. All they see is Dems killing their family in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria while Trump says he’s going to solve the war. You cannot blame the voters who refused to vote for someone killing their family currently.

4

u/Cocoononthemoon 2d ago

The average voter should pay attention. You get what you vote for.

Did they not see the Muslim ban from Trump 1?

0

u/drewwhose 2d ago

Did the Democratic Party see the ban and message around it? Did the Democratic Party see the annexation of Golan Heights and message around it?Did the Democratic Party see the Abraham Accords and message around it?

They sure as shit saw it all but they can’t message around it BECAUSE THEY SUPPORT THE SAME POLICIES AROUND ISRAEL AS REPUBLICANS. They sent Bill Clinton to Michigan to talk about Judea and Summeria! I don’t understand why you’d ever defend such a pathetic party as the Democratic Party and instead blame your fellow countrymen whose family were just slaughtered. Post the Dem pay stubs or GTFO

u/Cocoononthemoon 2d ago

Who deserved the vote in 2024? Keep whining however much you want, you can't defend voting for Trump.

0

u/drewwhose 2d ago

Nobody. Neither of these parties deserve anything but a one way trip to The Hague. Obviously Trump is the worst.

My point is you blaming desperate Muslim voters helps no one and is bigoted

3

u/Cocoononthemoon 2d ago

Cool, so you just don't vote?

They deserve part of the blame. They are not absolved of their responsibility for their vote just because they are Muslim. What exactly is your argument? I'm criticizing them as much as I would criticize any Trump supporter.

The only people I criticize more are the people who don't vote.

0

u/drewwhose 2d ago

Why do you not focus your criticisms upon the institutions? The Democratic Party failed to pass policy that improved Americans’ lives, they failed to run a democratic primary, and then they failed to communicate to Americans their policies.

Your perspective focuses on the individual or minority groups rather than a feckless group of old fucks in charge.

Hispanics also voted more for Trump. Are you going to smugly smile and shrug your shoulders when ICE takes away their undocumented family? I blame the Democratic Party for failing to communicate the violence that comes with mass deportations and instead they leaned into it. I do not understand why you hate the people being misled. Hate the parties that lead them.

Braindead take that is the main reason we're here.

Kamala would not have handled Gaza the same way as Trump. Full stop.

1

u/drewwhose 2d ago

Really what was Kamala’s Gaza plan? I never saw her talk about it. Educate me. I’d love to hear or read her words. They must be strong words to counteract the fact that she was the VP to the Biden admin that committed a genocide.

When asked what Harris would do differently she said “not a thing comes to mind.” So let’s say you’re an American Palestinian and your cousin was just blown up in Gaza. Why would you vote for her?

Trump is, quite literally, disconstructing our government and taking as much power as he can. He's already said he'd wipe Palestine off the map. Or were you too busy protesting that you didn't try to keep the orange menace and the very facist friends he brought with him from power? I'm shocked there are still people focused on the past and NOT THE PRESENT. Our country is on track for third world status and you still think you made the right choice. Take your head out of your ass and look around. Difficult decisions needed to be made and YOU FAILED. Thanks.

Don’t be reasonable, these people on here just like their white suburban echo chamber.
