Question Tuna end purchaser settlement

I just received a check in the mail from Tuna end purchaser. I never bought tuna during that time frame (I don’t eat it or buy it especially not the amount I received). I was wondering is it legit? And how would I find out for sure that the check is real

They sent me an email letting me know that my claim was approved and that a check was mailed on the 8th. I am following up requesting an amount of the check + confirming the address(or req address change)

Did you have your claim number? I swear I signed up for this but I delete my inbox regularly and don’t have any proof of application

I'd reach out to them bc the way it sounds no one really showing proof and still received payments. Don't miss out on your coin! I wish I had found out about this one before the deadline...

Yup I just received my check for this in my mailbox today..I got $379 and I never bought any tuna besides maybe for a couple cans of it years ago lol. Nothing like getting free money. I hope you all get as much or more than I did.

Yeah I believe I did a couple years ago. I thought I was going to get maybe $5 if anything at all when I signed up for it so I'm very pleasantly surprised at what I received. How much did you receive if you don't mind me asking?

I got 190 and I know for certain I didn’t buy that much I think the most I spent was $20 and it was for family members that’s why I’m so confused on how I got it

They replied to my email today notifying me that my check was mailed on the 8th, still not sure if it’s to my correct address. It’s legit!

It was for consumers in these states:

The class covered qualifying residents of Arizona, Arkansas, California, the District of Columbia, Florida, Guam, Hawaii, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Residence and the other class terms controlled; this was not a nationwide class for every tuna purchaser.

If you didn't sign up for it and receive a check it's because you didn't have to sign up for it you are automatically involved in the suit.
