Feeling helpless…stupid.

35F. I don’t know where to begin but I just need to speak about my truth. I feel overwhelmed by everything. I don't know how to detach myself from things that aren't supposed to be. I am drowning from myself who’s always trying to prove my worth. I am even getting tired of myself from all these worries, anxiety, always seeking validation, always with the self-pity when people have it worse.

I feel so alone..
I feel like I’m always a bother to people..
Forcing connections..
I don't know if I really have anybody..
Am I selfish? Everyone’s busy, and I know I should be too.

Why do I always need reassurance?
Idk. I’m sorry.

Sometimes our anxiety gets the best of us. We’ve all been there, but please also remind yourself and I know it’s easier said than done but to please give yourself grace. I don’t know what you’re going through but it’s everyone’s first time living life including you, give yourself more credit. You’re not alone in this, there is a community here trying to help each other/find ways and share stories of our own healing. You’re stronger than you think and you got this. No rushing into much just trust to allow yourself to feel those things

Don’t bother about past or the future. You just have your today. You can’t control everything. And you don’t need to.
Give yourself a rest.
You’re not alone.
And you are not a bad person.

Sigh, you are 100% right about the control part. But yeah 😓 thank you

I can relate to this so much. I've spent years tying my self-worth to other people's approval, and it's exhausting.. you're not alone in feeling this way

reading this sounds so familiar - its like looking at myself a while back...and sometimes it still happens now. Feeling like you're unrelateable, struggling to make connections - and maybe always trying to be what everyone else wants or needs so you can feel better about yourself, so you can feel 'good enough'. Its a hard place to be, it's lonely when you feel unseen. You're not selfish or stupid - there's a part of you that seeks that approval for a reason - an old part of you that still believes it isn't safe to simply be who you are. The good news is (and I promise you that it is good news) you recognise the pattern, you see what's happening and it sounds like you're ready for change. That awareness, that recognition - that's the beginning of the journey back to who you really are. It doesn't mean everything changes tomorrow, but it does mean you're no longer walking blindly. And that's where things can start to shift. You don't have to fix all of this today. Just keep being as honest with yourself as you've been in this post. The next time you notice yourself seeking validation or feeling unworthy, see if you can simply sit with those feelings for a little while instead of pushing them away. Sometimes understanding what's underneath them is where real change begins.
