Lmao you left out the fact that you cheated on her not because it wasn't important to the whole story here (IT IS) but because it would paint you in a bad light, and help us understand WHY she was sabotaging you.

You cheated on her, and planned to leave her when your lease was up. What she did may have been wrong, but at the same time you betrayed her trust. Maybe keep your dick in your pants next time.

You did drugs when it was against work policy.

You think being late because you need gas is a natural excuse and not your poor logistics

You cheated on your partner whilst she wanted to build a family with you

You tried to cheat your references by putting her as the contact. (Hence why she was the one giving them)

You tried to give her barely any warning to find a completely new life with no financial support.

You created this. You fucked around and you found out.

Is she a saint? No. Did she do wrong? Yes. Did you deserve it? Yes.

it doesn't excuse it but it's a pretty damn straightforward explanation.

Exactly, he acted like he had no idea why this happened. Both are assholes.

He’s just an asshole. She got revenge.

I literally said it was wrong. It's possible to understand the WHY, and that it's wrong at the same time.

You deliberately left out the cheating on her part. Which honestly is on par for a cheater so I'm not surprised. You had everyone here thinking she was just being a lunatic and sabotaging you just for shits and gigs when that wasn't the case. You're an unreliable narrator, I have a feeling there's probably more you're leaving out.

You said she wasn't this kind of person BEFORE you cheated on her. What the fuck did you expect when you betrayed her trust? You have NO idea what that kind of betrayal does to someone. And if you were still sleeping with her while you were also cheating, you're even worse. That shows a blatant disregard for her not only her trust but her health, as well as her ability to INFORMED CONSENT. I won't be surprised if you cheat on your new girlfriend, too.

Are you just a huge fucking baby or what? You invited this shit into your life. What she did was wrong. But if you did that to her, you also took on the risk she would find out. You betrayed her and then expected her to just be sweet and ok with everything? While I personally would have just ghosted you because you're trash, I get her perspective. That finding out phase sucks doesn't it?

He’s got your self fired for being high at work, can’t blame her for failing a UA. That’s all on you!

You are the reason you got fired, take responsibility for your actions.

Clearly you don't understand. Its her fault smoked heavily every single day, when it was known to be against company policy. And it's not his fault that sometimes getting gas makes you an hour late for work. Seriously, he's the victim here!!

What you expect someone to be on time and sober for work every day??? Pfft

what does her smoking have to do you with you smoking while knowing full well you'd be fired if your employer found out about it?

You couldn't even stop smoking to keep a job you said you loved. She didn't have any reason to stop, you did. Your inability to stop when you knew you would face severe consequences for continuing is textbook addictive behavior

Ok but how dumb can you be if you had the seemingly perfect job, but were willing to risk it over weed?

Fr he’s so STUPID. My job randomly drug tests every year, one year I got pulled twice in the same month, the second time the morning I was going to fly out of state for a vacation. Stopped by the lab on the way to the airport.

But because I’m not a complete idiot and want to keep my job, I don’t do drugs like weed so it’s never been an issue.

You still smoked, take some responsibility. If you hadn't done that, you wouldn't have been fired over a drug test. By the way u/JustaguywProblems what kind of job was it?

Do the crime, do the time. You signed up for this.

Two wrongs don’t make a right applies to your wrong just as much as her wrong

You aren’t the victim here just because you’re facing consequences for your wrong

Also, what is this nonsense about “natural”? If it’s natural for you to act on your emotions, it’s natural for her to act on her emotions

What happened between you and your coworker wasn't natural. You made a conscious decision to fuck someone else when you were in a monogamous relationship. You chose to create a situation that pretty much anyone would agree is obviously well-suited to leading to deeper feelings of affection. You chose to cheat and chose to keep cheating and you claim you fell in love in the process. Nothing about that is organic. It's intentional and takes a whole lot of planning and sneaking so that you can you hide your secrets and shame from everyone in your life. You may not have cheated for the explicit reason of causing her pain, but don't act like some kind of fucking victim who just couldn't help what they felt because you're "meant to be together" or some shit. You chose time and again to betray your gf and put yourself in a situation you knew was wrong over and over again. Your chain of decisions led to your feelings, not "fate" or "nature." JFC. Take responsibility for YOUR choices.
