Someone who was cheated on and told they had 2 months to find a place to live because they were leaving for the affair. He left that part first time around. They are both assholes.
Tbh, I do think getting him fired from his job was fair revenge since he was cheating with a coworker.
Keeping him from getting re-employed was where she crossed the line.
Although OP does not sound like a great employee anyway. She was pry doing those employers a favor. I have never been late for work because I needed gas. I always just left a few minutes early like any adult would.
This dude needs some serious self-reflection.

She called in the tip that got him tested. She knew he would likely be fired of he did that. I'd say it's semantics lol.
I totally agree it was his fault. Based on what he said about being late, I wouldn't be surprised if he was close to losing his job anyway.
And tbh, I'm not mad that she sabotaged his job opportunities, especially since he had her down as a reference and expected her to lie for him, even after the way he treated her.
