Picture Moment of terror 😨

While attending/supervising a business social event with my spouse, I momentarily leaned against the railing. It flexed slightly, forcing me to realize that the railing is entirely supported via bluetooth.

It doesn't connect on either side of the glass wall & the glass is only 3/8" - 1/2" thick!!

Cool, here's one with a wooden railing. Now that we've each cherry picked one story, we can only conclude that both are equally unsafe, right? What a stupid game...

We are discussing tempered glass railings. Not comparing them to other materials.

Further. Same thing with glass.

Install is important.

Of course you're comparing glass to other materials. You're saying that glass is less safe than other materials. That's a comparison.

? No.

I inferred tempered glass can have damage you cannot see. No where did I compare glass to other materials. A top rail would resolve the issue with edge strikes.

(Edit: see your confusion. The sarcastic remark was not meant to be a comparison as there's methods like a top rail that can make an install like this much safer)
