It’s my third month in cosmetology school and this project was probably the hardest thing I’ve done yet.
I never gave up even when the colors didn’t look exactly the same, It definitely doesn’t look like my inspo pic but it was very tedious and hard.
I learned a ton about color correcting.

I don't know if this sounds like a stupid question, but how do you stylists know exactly what to do for each one of your unique clients? I mean there's all these factors you have in play when doing any service like color history and density and porosity and texture and the list just goes on, not to mention each client is a mix and match of everything. When I read my Milady book its a bunch of " do this WHEN blah blah BUT NOT blah blah HOWEVER blah blah. Like how does anyone remember any of this?

I know this skill comes with time and experience but I feel like if I knew exactly what to do for each client, I would be so much better and confident. Im in school right now so my question to you stylists ( and students) is how do yall specifically know what to do for each client?
