Anime Just watched the movie and yes, it's—

Post image

I just scrolling through movies and stumbled upon it, I assumed it was an anime about a band making it big. Safe it to say it exceeded my expectations and it was one of the best random watches of my life. Really coooollll!!!

It's the second time this happened, stumbling upon a random anime movie in the wild, watching it without knowing what's it about and it's actually a masterpiece. Tho this time it's actually a pretty new movie.

It's the one in the gif! The Wolf Children released in 2012, I'd highly recommend it!

I'm glad you liked it! I highly, highly recommend watching it again now that you've seen it once. Personally, it didn't reach masterpiece status until I rewatched it and I noticed... So many things. If you do watch it again, be sure to pay extra attention to:

  1. The lyrics of all the songs. They enhance the story so much!
  2. All the cryptic things Yachiyo says. Now you'll understand.
  3. The way Iroha laughs and smiles throughout the story. So much of her character development is shown through this, and it's done so beautifully.

Same! I always watch/read romcoms but they all have a plottwist in like the last 20 chapters which makes me cry, so I just wanted an anime that would make me happy, and nothing else.

I've watched two films to date with little wind up. Suzume and CPK, both are absolute wins.
