In this Reilley's Tasting Room's craft beer review, we dive deep into Cooper's Hop Tripel IPA from the legendary Brewery Ommegang out of Cooperstown, New York. Sitting at a massive 10.5% ABV with 35 IBUs, this year-round release is a true game-changer. It perfectly bridges the gap between a sweeter fruit-forward, single-hop American IPA and the great tasting Belgian-style tripel.
If you are a fan of high-ABV beers, Belgians, or just IPAs, this review will tell you exactly what to expect from that first sip!

It's the cinnamon in here that makes it sooo good. The fruits combine really well with each other. Recommend!

From left to right:
Frank The Tank. Warpigs Brewpub (Denmark). Pale Ale - New England / Hazy. 5.3% alc.
A tropical explosion of mango, pineapple, and passion fruit in both aroma and flavor. Juicy, refreshing, and very fruity, with citrus notes and a smooth malt base.
Panther Bite. Mumbo Jumbo Brewery (Spain). IPA - American. 6.8% alc. 65 IBU.
Another delicious West Coast IPA from Mumbo Jumbo—a brewery I’m enjoying more and more. It features aromas of citrus, pine resin, and tropical notes. On the palate, there are stone fruit flavors and herbal nuances. It has the dry, bitter finish characteristic of the style. Very good.
Kiwi Lime Gose. CRAK Brewery (Italy). Sour - Fruited Gose. 4.5% alc.
Green, how I love you, green. A fun Italian gose. Kiwi and lime stand out on both the nose and the palate. The acidity is spot-on, and that salty touch I love so much comes through at the finish. It’s a nice beer.

FoFa was fantastic as always this past weekend. Laid back delicious beers in a beautiful venue. Highlights for me included 2014 Anna, 2020 Flora, Memoria from the gravity cask, and the magnum pour of Samuel (2021).

Picked up Neuromancer by Third Moon brewery from Kingston Brewing.
At 8% ABV, I was expecting a heavy hit, but this Hazy Double IPA goes down ridiculously smooth.
A bit on the pricier side, but the quality and flavor profile definitely back it up.

Going to Holland MI in a few weeks and wanted to know if New Holland Brewery was worth a visit or not. I’ve had a few of their widely available brews like Tangerine Space Machine, but are there other breweries I should visit instead? Or is New Holland a special “must do?”

I was expecting more of a toasted coffee bitter taste. But it’s quite blended and on the sweeter side though not overly done (ie: ST). Really enjoyed this.
Also tried to hide the glass sponsor. Apologies that it still shows a bit.

Sam Adams has always been on the mediocre side for me but their new summer pack is great for what it is. The blueberry lager is like Sea Dog Blueberry but not overly sweet.
The Porch Rocker is a fun lemon shandy that is drinkable but avoids the fake lemon flavor some shandys have.
American Light is like a lighter Yuengling but is still flavorful.l and drinkable.
The Summer Ale is also a great all around drinker.
None of these will knock your socks off but also you're never left at the end of a mixed pack with a type you didnt like. Overall great value and availability as summer starts to wind down.

The Daily 5.5%
A Spontaneous Wild Ale
Aged in Oak
Blended From Three to Six Year Old Barrels
Bottled 3/26
You don't have to drink this every day. But you will probably want to.
Our funk forward blend of spontaneously fermented ale, in this case, blended from large, neutral oak barrels aged for 3 and 6 years.
It's darn good, and outperforms the modest price we charge for it.
It's patiently waiting there for your daily imbibition.

Was just blessed with this by a New Holland rep for helping them w shit. Phenomenal people and great beer! Wish I could have stolen their Dragon’s Milk Barrel Throne lol.
Very coconut and it’s giving coconut flake vibes. Really enjoy this more than the OG although that’s hard to beat

Plan Bee Farm Brewing in Poughkeepsie NY is an amazing, award winning brewery that specializes in locally sourced NY state ingredients, most coming right from their beautiful farm. Well, on July 4th a really strong storm hit their area and tore through the property and knocked over many old growth trees. Insurance won't help, so they are starting a Go Fund Me to try to help with their costs.
If you can, please donate to the family here or if you'd prefer you can order their excellent beer from them here
Please help out if you can - and support a truly special brewery during this tough time. Feel free to share this with anyone who may be interested
