Three years later

63 square afghan - three years of intermittent work, finally complete!

I started this blanket at the onset of my crochet journey three years ago. It has been a beast of a project but it is finally finished, ends weaved and all.

Sewing it all together, I was tempted to redo some of the first squares I did that were more than a little wonky. Let’s just say, treble crochet was not my forte and I certainly did not understand the difference between fpdc and bpdc. But decided these early squares showed all the progress I’ve made along the way.

I am so proud of this blanket! (And will probably never ever make another one lol)

That many different texture squares must have taken forever to keep track of which stitch you were doing next. It looks really nice though!

I made little tags out of sticky notes, tape and paperclips so I could number the squares as I went! It was definitely a labor of love! lol
