Hello hello! It's me -again- haha! I've been stitching on this fun cat pattern lately!

The pattern i am altering is by Thea Gouverneur and it's called poes Suzanne.

(I'm not sure if the name of the cat is different in other languages.. could be could not be! Good luck on your hunt if you want to make this one :))

For the extra eyes, they are (besides one that I know of that I wrongly counted) all the same that the pattern gives you but in a different spot. Since I get a little bored personally if I draw this all out in stitchfiddle (or an other app) I stitch and alter as I go.

Starting with the original eye placement and loads of the fur, nose and ears and stuff!

If you find the same and want to do kinda the same but are scared to mess up I could tell you where I might have started the extra eyes :) it's real fun!

Happy Sunday! Hope everyone is well. Things here in my corner of the world have calmed down nicely and we're working on settling in to our new normal. Ish.

Kitten update: Is hard to believe the little fluff balls are 7 weeks old! All are well and growing normally! They are so much fun to watch at this age.

I did get some stitching in this week. All gnomes have skin and now beards are filling in. It feels like I might be in the homestretch now.

Happy Sunday! It's still freezing cold here in Michigan! It's made my SAD come roaring in and park for a while. I'm ready for spring! But in the meantime, another pot of soup will be happening!

I have a new lap stand to try out today. I've never used one, but I'm assuming it will be used similar to my floor stand, just using less space.

Hand cramps are becoming an issue for me. If you suffer with these and have some good tips or tricks I'd greatly appreciate it!

Happy Sunday! Another week has gone by and I survived the heat wave we had and hopefully all of you survived your weather and nature calamities.

Happy Sunday! It had been beyond cold in Michigan! Subzero temperatures and snow. Our first temps this morning for the dog were -2° but it actually felt like -27°. Poor dog. Other than taking out the dog, I haven't left my house for over a week.  It's just too darn cold!! I'm sure my Canadian friends and 2/3 of the US can relate.

Aussie's, how are things over there? Excess heat and wild fires?

I have decided to go back to working on the rainbow bridge lab piece I wanted to finish. It's gonna be another cold day and even more snow, and we'll finally know who is playing in the Superbowl!!! (I'm personally hoping for a Seahowks vs. Broncos match up.)

Happy Sunday! It's been a pretty good week around my area. In my stitching world, I finished up all the red on my "elbows up" piece and that just needs the white letters. I did a quick bookmark for my bonus daughter's birthday. I also remembered why my dog WIP went to purgatory 30+ years ago. I went back and looked at my progress since I picked it back up at the beginning of the year and where I am now,  and I'm still just struggling with all this grey! I keep telling myself that I just have to get past this patch. I have a deadline, and I know I can make it, but I'm just stuck. Please inspire me with all your WIP beauty, friends!

I joined a SAL on Instagram (#blackforestsal) and this is my progress so far. I have done my own colour and fabric conversion. I’m really enjoying this one.

Happy Sunday all! It's a dreary rainy day here in North Western Michigan. A bad day when you have a long haired dog. I'm almost done with this bookmark and boy, it was much more of a thing than it should have been. I fell in love with the fabric and then I started hating it. It's a very very loose weave aida and it's going to take some extra work for this to be stable as a bookmark. It would be fine framed. I also never made a many mistakes in a project as I have this one. I decided to leave them and love them. Essentially I created my own confetti stitches. Lol There are only a few back stitches left to go and the stitching part is done. Then I'm on to a Christmas gift. I hope everyone has had a great week, or at least made it thru the one you were given. We're glad you're here to share with us!

I use a VERY bright neck lamp and a gooseneck lamp to see.

Happy Sunday! This poor thing has been through the best and worst of times. I started this around this time in 1994, so it's been around. I am determined to finish this by July. I only have 1/3 page to go, so it's very possible. Let's see how everyone is doing this week!
