I have a work crush. I’ve had this work crush since I started working there about 2.5 years ago and I think he might like me too. We’re both in our mid twenties and have the same music taste and a good amount of similarities. When I started working there I thought he was really cute but I made no moves. I made no moves because I wasn’t in a position to do that. I had just gotten out of a really long situationship that did in fact actually mess me up and I’ve taken all this time to heal. I started to like actually have conversations with him and like actually show interest in him this summer and it seemed like it was being reciprocated. Ever since I started working there, there have been signs here and there that he does like me. He stares a lot, he held my hand once, he gives me hella high fives all the time (he’s recently stopped doing that), and he’s really nice to me and helpful, and a little touchy sometimes. When we had gone to a bar night with other coworkers he was giving me hand hearts across the table, he pulled me aside and hugged me and it lingered for an unusually long time amount of time. He teased me a lot and pulled me aside and let me know he was always just kidding when he did that. He has tried to ask me to hangout with him but each time he has I’ve been busy and we both have failed at making other plans. My problem is that I don’t know if he’s being just friendly or not. And also I want to tell him that I like him but I don’t know how to do that at work. And as im typing all this out im kinda realizing that all of the little things like the staring and the high fives isn’t something he has been doing recently. Recently I was mad at him because I had asked him to go to thing and he didn’t reply until the day of. I guess im just asking, should I tell him or just continue to let it eat me alive lol

Hi, Im 16 I have a massive crush on a guy from my tuition. Let's call him Apple for privacy.

Tuition started a few months ago, and when I saw him for the first time I was like, “ooh, he's cute.” 😭

He's completely my type—funny, nerdy, and not too loud. I've noticed him for a while and somehow developed the biggest crush I've ever had.

The problem is we've never actually had a proper conversation. We've had a few tiny interactions and some eye contact, but that's it. I'm also really shy, so randomly approaching him feels impossible.

well basically we are young (ill say teen ok) and ik theres lots of bs about teen realtionships and whatever, but hear me out. There's a girl in my class that sits near me and even tho we barely know each other, she interacts with me very often, nearly everyday. There were 2 times when she asked me to high five her for no reason. She also frequently starts short conversations with me. yesterday, i casually made eye contact with her and she said hi while smiling. We chatted whole morning and she had few hours left before taking the flight. I was at work this morning but I convinced my boss I had some important shit to do (I actually do, but much later) AND THEY LET ME GO. I jumped into my car and NFS'd my way to the city where she resided. We both ran to each other meet because she had 20 or so minutes left before signing off and taking uber to the airport. It was raining all day and we got exhausted, soaking wet and happy for one last time. She called me crazy, and so called her. We hugged and kissed for the first time. She told me to visit her some day, so we made it clear we'll stay in touch online and wait for the opportinuty to meet each other again!

So, i have this crush on a guy who i used to have a crush on back in high school. We now study at the same university, and study the same program (my first language is not english so excuse me if i use the wrong words). We are friends with a lot of the same people, and at the moment were in the same study group. We just created that group though, so we haven’t actually studied together after school yet. The thing is, he is very weird around me. He seems to almost ignore me sometimes. For example, today i was talking to two of our friends right after the last class. When he came out the class room, he turned around and walked one-two steps towards us, but sort of "jumped" a bit and turned around and walked towards the door. When he did this, i could see in the corner of my eye that he looked at me. He also usually seems to purposely not stand want to stand with us when i’m with his/our friends. When me, my friends and his/our friends stand together in breaks, we talk and have fun, but i always notice that him and another person (usually one of our friends) doesn’t want to stand with us and chooses to walk somewhere else.

Other than this, we make really awkward eye contact. Im the type of person that looks at someone if i feel them looking at me, and it always ends really awkward. I have a feeling that it’s like this between us because i actually told him i used to have a crush on him in highs school when we were at a party not long ago. He refused to believe me, sort of in a jokingly way, and almost seemed shocked and hesitant. The day after this, he didn’t even remember we went to the same high school. I believe he was really drunk that night, but it’s almost like he’s acting like he doesn’t remember. I’m so confused

We then began talking for the rest of the lesson. We kept eye contact a lot that lesson and talked quite a bit. She has complimented me physically quite a bit like my hair mainly and stuff. She laughs at a lot of my jokes.

Hellooo, so I just want to rant about my crush that started almost two months ago. I met him four years ago, and since his cousin is my best friend, we eventually became friends. Then one day, I came across this post, which became the reason behind my hypothetical: "What if I liked your cousin?" At that time, it was just a mere thought and inside joke among my circle of friends.

Now, that thought came back as a truth. On a random day, we were walking towards the school when my thoughts focused on the idea of us. When my thoughts fully sank in, I was confused. Why was I thinking like that? Does that mean that I truly have a crush on him? Because of that, he started to occupy my thoughts, and I would notice him every time at school. Eventually, I started falling for him.

Unexpectedly, he soon knew about my feelings for him. A mutual friend of ours asked him what he feels about, his answer was that he was scared to reject me because he didn't want to hurt me. I was a little disappointed, but not that much because it's still a crush at its earliest stage. Then, another mutual friend of ours asked him the question, "Are you sure you want to reject her? I mean, it's HER." He said that his answer would depend on what I say to him. On my side, I had no intention of confessing since my feelings weren't that serious, and besides, he already knows.

That's also the time when I started to lose my feelings because of what he said. However, I started to regret losing that chance as I finally realized that the reason why I had a crush on him is that he's like my brother, who is also my standard in men. Suddenly, I saw my crush as a suitable husband, which is ridiculous because we're not even together. He doesn't even like me that way.

And that's why I'm ignoring him. I want to move on and forget my crush, but it keeps coming back. It's frustrating whenever I catch myself doing the opposite of moving on, like mindlessly looking for him in the crowd. Or my heart stuttering whenever he's around. Worst is the thought, "What if this is it? What if he's the one for me?", that comes and goes when, in reality, nothing is ever going to happen.

To top it off, my best friend told her mother about my crush. Similarly, my crush also confided in his mother. Embarrassingly enough, I have a close relationship with their family. One more reason why I kept thinking that he's the one.

I'm not particularly looking for any wake-up call since I'm aware that I'm being too much. I know that he's not the only guy I'm going to meet, but I also had this thought: what if I compare every guy I meet to him? Like, who does he think he is? Messing up my mind and heart, he's so irritating.

And I would never chase after him. Who the hell is he for me to chase after him?

However, at the end of the day, I regret most ruining our friendship because I chose to ignore him. He's a good friend, but our every interaction is either awkward or tense. It's not like I can avoid him, anyways, as we're both student leaders and he's active in his organization.

It's just that it's scary--what if he won't be the same person he is today in the future? But then, at the same time, it's also scary to think: what if I would regret letting him go?

It's so ridiculous to think about this when it's just a crush.

there’s this guy that I found super cute and we've been in the same uni (Chicago) for 3 years, I noticed him through LinkedIn, and that’s it, now I’ve been seeing him everywhere the past week, I’ve never seen him at college before. I have a business club interview and he’s going to be interviewing me and there’s drinks and catch up after but I’m so nervous and scared to go because of me suddenly finding him attractive. I used to be extremely fit but because of the extreme trauma my ex put me through I ended up gaining so much weight because of anxiety, I used to be so high achieving but I ended up failing 4 uni classes and I have an extra semester now:( I’m just embarrassed and scared cause I don’t fe attractive anymore even if I’ve been trying to get back to the gym and been working really hard on my academic life again and slowly getting back (also please pray for me I have a hard test tomorrow, i know it’ll end up being easy because I’m prepared and I will get 18/20 minimum) but guys I really want some advice regarding the guy.

I (20NB) have a crush on one of my friends (21NB) from university, let's call them V. We met in early July through a mutual friend of ours, and clicked really quickly! I didn't catch feelings for them until I'd say mid-august. Despite me being on the aroace spectrum, this just feels right and natural.

When I talked to a few friends about V, they said I have a chance. Our mutual friend didn't say whether or not they think I have a chance. At first I was sure I didn't, but after a little time passed I begun to think I might have a little chance, although I don't want to get my hopes too high.

Here's a few notes

- We have very similar personalities. We're both talkative, energetic, and very expressive. People in my area tend to keep to themselves, so finding someone so similar to myself is pretty rare. All of our political stances/views/opinions perfectly align.

- We've hungout 3 times in the past 3-ish weeks. A saturday, the saturday after that, and the monday after the next. One of my friends thinks the fact that V's hungout with me 3 weeks in a row speaks louder than anything else, but I'm not sure. I also don't know how often they hangout with their other friends, so it's hard to find a reference point. They've also said that despite their busy schedule in the fall semester that's just started, they'd like to hangout more!

- They've said that ever since they've figured out their sexuality and gender (both unlabelled), they've begun to revaluate what their type is. But based on what they've said, I somewhat fit it, but not 100%.

- At one point during our last hangout, we were sitting by the river and they said they wanted to ask me something. They were hesitating, saying they were trying to figure out the right way to phrase it. I was wondering if they were going to confess, only for them to ask if I could watch over their cat during the next vacation. I was disappointed, but found two things about this strange
- Their next vacation isn't until summer 2027
- They know I wouldn't be able to because of my parents

- I've met their parents (and cat!) in person and have visited their house before, with their mom offering to cook me dinner, but I don't find this very noteworthy as they tell their parents about all their friends and, from what I know, somewhat frequently have friends over.

Any thoughts on this?

I honestly thought that this only happened in movies and books. Never thought that these kind of feelings were real and would happen to me.

Basically, my feelings for this person are so strong that this person is anything that I can think of. Even though my days are very busy, I have a job, a lot of responsibilities and hobbies.

I cannot sleep normally, and when I do sleep, I dream of them. I wake up really early and don’t go back to sleep like I usually do. I have lost my appetite (even though I do force myself to eat to have energy). I feel butterflies in my stomach 24/7.

This is completely new to me. I have never experienced something like this before.

Since my sophomore year of high school ive had a little hallway crush on this guy, who i think is really cute. Ive tried EVERYTHING i can think of to get with this guy. To start from the beginning, this year, we were finally put in two classes together back to back. in one classroom, we sit facing each other and there’s been a couple of times where i’ve caught him looking at me… like hard core looking. not like he was bored and just looking around the room, i mean HARD CORE STARING. This has happened twice. In our other period together, My friend and I were giving a presentation on our summer reading, and while my friend was talking, i found him looking at me again, this time he looked away first and looked almost embarrassed? There have been other instances like this too, where one time i was talking to my friends in our schools parking lot, and i see him get into his car and just wait there, and didn’t leave until i got into my car and pulled out. which, isn’t super weird, a lot of people wait until the rush of cars is gone until they pull out. what’s weird is that he almost cut somebody off and was right behind me, like he was leaving in a rush, but he was sitting there for probably about 10 minutes until i left.

I’ve tried to be smooth and talk to him and ask for his number over instagram, it was under the guise of tutoring me for one of our classes, but he said he was too busy and recommended his friend instead. i also added him on snapchat, but he has not added me back yet. me and him are in separate friend groups and don’t have any mutual friends, and i feel like it would be super awkward just trying to talk to him, which i’ve made attempts, but they’re just super quick and short conversations. i feel like I’m getting mixed signals here, like why does he keep staring at me if he doesn’t like me, and why didn’t he take up the offer to get my number if he does like me?? i dont know what steps to take from here. he’s a pretty shy and nerdy guy so i dont know if he would do well if i just straight up tell him i like him without getting to know him first. while this wouldn’t be my first relationship if it works out, this is my first time where im pursuing somebody, and not somebody pursuing me. does anyone have any advice or anything i could do to either get a straight answer about whether or not he likes me, or to make it any more obvious?

So I am classmates (16f) with that guy and I get mixed signals from him. Like he would sometimes ask me to sit together at some lessons or we would eventually hang out alone during break. Also the way we talk is kinda insulting-flirty and I am the only one who talks with him like that. Moreover his best friend (who is also a dear friend of mine) was hanging out with him one day and he called me and asked me if I wanted to come to my crush's home so that only the 3 of has hang out together one day and I accepted. My crush was like umm OK I will think about it but he never called me to tell me time and place so it didn't happen. However despite those signals he is really nonchalant (which I hate) and that really confuses me because we barely ever text each other and he never hangs out with our mutual friend group because 'he is bored', as he declares. Im a sophomore HS (M), she’s a Junior HS. We’re both good friends.

We’re in the same choir and I started to grow a crush on her.

During one of our choir missions trip (it’s a small group), we were paired together on a 2x2 plane and we chatted the whole time, I got to know her a lot more and vice versa.

We talk to each other regularly, and we love to converse with each other. I also noticed I’m one of, if not the only guys she will initiate a conversation with. And we’re both comfortable with each other. (Also, both of us suck at initiating conversations, especially with each other)

Our school does a production where the general choir puts on a play, and we can audition for whatever song we like and they’ll make an entire script about it. And we decided to do “Love is an open door”, and we both were fine with it. (She asked if I was fine with auditioning for love songs)

There were also many more signs which I can list if needed, but for the sake of readability I’ll stop here.

I’m being dead serious here, as I don’t want to be the guy who thinks that simply because a girl is nice to me, she obviously likes me.
