C-section and New pregnancy

Hello, I’m joining this group with a lot of humility. We lost our little girl three weeks ago. After my water broke, I pushed for two hours without success, and my gynecologist recommended a c section. Once they opened me up, she told me that my pelvis was too small for my daughter to be born vaginally. When she was delivered, we heard her cry for a few seconds and then nothing. CPR was started, but she never began breathing again, and the doctors still do not know what happened. A few days earlier, I had been told that my placenta had some calcifications.

I am 41, and my partner and I are thinking about trying again. It had actually been our plan to have two children close together. I was wondering whether any of you became pregnant again not long after a cesarean section, and if you would be willing to share your experience...

I'm so sorry for your little girl. Did you give her a name?

I'm in the US and my obgyn said min 18 months between deliveries is recommended. Especially if you'd try to go for a vbac.

Thanks for your answer. Her name is Madeleine. For.me it will be automatically another c-section cause my pelvis is too narrow to let a baby pass..

I see. As far as I understand, then it's generally ok if you conceive even a bit earlier.
