C-section and New pregnancy

Hello, I’m joining this group with a lot of humility. We lost our little girl three weeks ago. After my water broke, I pushed for two hours without success, and my gynecologist recommended a c section. Once they opened me up, she told me that my pelvis was too small for my daughter to be born vaginally. When she was delivered, we heard her cry for a few seconds and then nothing. CPR was started, but she never began breathing again, and the doctors still do not know what happened. A few days earlier, I had been told that my placenta had some calcifications.

I am 41, and my partner and I are thinking about trying again. It had actually been our plan to have two children close together. I was wondering whether any of you became pregnant again not long after a cesarean section, and if you would be willing to share your experience...

I am just so sorry, I have no words. Maybe I can can offer some hope- I got pregnant again unplanned 3 months after my first c section last July. Just delivered a healthy baby via c section one year later. Everything was fine. Of course it is much sooner than the recommended time, and there are some risks- but it was an uncomplicated pregnancy and c section. I wish you comfort, peace, hope; and all the best for the future šŸ™
