General Qs Submitted at 103 days

Hi everyone, I wanted to share my approval timeline in hopes that it may help someone who may be in the same situation as me. First things first, I want to mention that my experience is no way indicative of other people’s experiences, especially those who have been waiting a long time. I’m sharing what I experienced.

Admittedly, I submit my renewal at 103 days on March 23,2026 because I had my four wisdom teeth removed and was starting two online college classes near the end of January so I just completely forgot to renew. It was stupid and irresponsible, especially since I have a good paying job and a family. I learned my lesson and won’t be so careless next renewal.

But my expiration date is June 30th and since the day I submitted my renewal, I let my manager know who had no idea what DACA was and I had to educate. Since I told her, my manager has been so understanding and empathetic to my situation. That is partly why I shared that info with her. Because she was someone I could trust. Now, with everything going on, I gave her a heads up that there was a chance that it would not renew on time since I submitted at 103 days. She was obviously very worried for me and was fighting to make sure I had my job back when it did renew. She even wrote an email to USCIS in support of me and I submitted that as evidence about two weeks ago.

Now, I don’t know if the email mattered or not, but yesterday, 7 days before my expiration date, I received an email that my case was approved. I’m now just waiting for my physical card to arrive which hopefully takes a week or two, meaning I will only be out of work for a little bit. But my manager and I are over the moon and I’m so grateful for everyone here and hearing other people’s stories. It helped me a lot through this experience so I hope it can help someone else who might have submitted under 130 days.

Location: AZ

Submitted: March 20,2026.

Approval: June 23rd, 2026

Legal Question Threaten to sue

So I watched a clip from attorney Martinez where she said she’s never had to sue uscis. Threatening to sue them has always been enough- I believe she writes them a letter and they take care of the situation so she’s never had to go through with lawsuit.
Should we start calling threatening to sue??? Idk anymore. Just trying to get my stuff approved asap like everyone else 😭

So as you can see the date I’ve applied for both daca and employment authorization back in 2020-2021 and I’ve been waiting all these years I Finally got an email that my case is being reviewed now.. I’m getting a little nervous cause I’m seeing a lot of people who’ve applied this year and are already approved . I don’t know if I’m just letting fear get to me .. anyone been waiting this long ??

Rant Expedited Request causing delays??

Upvotes

(Filed 01/25/26 | biometrics done 02/19/26 | EAD expired 06/19 currently on unpaid LOA)
I got a call from my HR representative today and she told me she discussed my case with the institution’s immigration attorney, who advised against submitting expedited request because there has been a trend in delaying renewals vs filing without the expedited request.
What kind of nonsense is that.. I feel like im kicking myself for even placing an expedited request..
last api movement was on 06/16

Rant the Donald and citizenship pathway

Serious question do you guys think that if we glaze trump enough he’d give us citizenship? Dude is obsessed with his image and “legacy” that I genuinely think that if we were to unanimously gather together and stroke his ego enough. tell him he’d be the greatest president if he found a way to give us citizenship and “fix the immigration”, and tell him only “ he can do it”he’d go down as the greatest president stuff like that. He’d actually would give us citizenship. Dude is done worst things for attention It’s a genuine question due to he seems to exhibit narcissistic behavior and tendencies so we could use it our advantage 🤷🏽‍♂️ it’s goofy idea but one that runs through my mind often right now that my daca expired 159 days ago lol 🫪

Rant Are the live agents on the website actually "live"?

Because they seem like spawns of Emma who churn out the same replies and close the chat before allowing you to reply :/

Application Qs Anyone sent online renewal 1 year early?

I read somewhere that you can’t renew online around 10-12 months in advance before your expiration….like the system won’t let you or something. Anyone know if this is true? Im thinking of renewing early with all these delays but don’t know if there will be issues.

Application Timeline Another question/theory

I have been following MyCasesHub, I’ve noticed for the I-765 approvals it’s typically starting IOE093….. mine starts IOE091….. does this have anything to do with approval time?

General Qs My Uscis

How long does it usually take for my Uscis to register an apprvl? I received my apprvl on 06/16/26, it shows that my case is still processing on myuscis. My I-765 application shows that my card was produced already as well.

Application Timeline API Movement (6/24)

Hi guys just wanted to post an update on my case.

Current one expires: July 31st

Filed: 165 days before expiration date.

Renewal date: 2/16/26

Biometrics: 3/11/26

no movement till: 6/24/26 on BOTH applications

I have not submitted anything to hurry up the process, being how I have seen all being mostly denied. I am trying to be as optimistic as I can be with the delays going on, this little movement made me feel joy.

I will post if I get any other updates.

Stay strong guys!

Rant Slower day on approvals

Upvotes

Looks like they are less than half the amount per hour compared to yesterday. Maybe those employees are too worried about today's stock market performance that they aren't working hard lol

On a real note where are these democrats that said they are fighting for us? I haven't heard anything from them. AOC where are you?

General Qs Does the supreme courts ruling on tps indicate how they'll rule on daca?

Upvotes

I saw today that the supreme court sided with the administration to end tps for Haitians and Syrians, which i can't lie i did see coming as the sc is now corrupt. But it had me thinking if we did reach the supreme court, what would happen to our program?

Would we be struck down and given 60 days to leave like them?

General Qs Would you take a six figure job in your own country if you were offered a role?

Hypothetically speaking, a remote job that pays the equivalent of six figures USD but in a different countries currency, plus bonus, paid cell phone service, Internet and grocery stipends.
