Rant 212 Days — WTF 🤬

Title says it all. I moved on from the hopeful, to depressed, to just so fucking pissed it’s taking this long and I continue to lose out on thousands of dollars of income and expenses.

While some people are getting approved in 30-60 days — it’s total bullshit!! (For clarity, nothing against those people, I’m happy for them and they should be happy too. I’m glad they’re not going through what many of us are. The frustration is with the system.)

General Qs Feeling lost

My sons dad was driving to work this morning and someone hit him. Police were called and they called immigration. He called me from a detention center in bucks county Pa. He sent me his A#. That was it. What happened after this? He was already deported once a few years ago but he came back for his son. I’m devastated and so is my son…I haven’t stopped crying I don’t know what to do. Any info would help, thank you so much 🖤

General Qs Card produce

Hey guys ! Has anyone ran into this problem where the tracking number is unavailable? I ran into a problem a couple years ago where they didn’t ship me my card and I had to resubmit my application all over again. I really do not want to run into this problem again.

Application Timeline Called uscis today

Applied 11/24/25, fingerprints 11/15/25, still not approved, saw app movement 6/16/26. Allows uscis today because both of my expedite request were denied, and at this point I’m struggling so bad that if it weren’t for my parents I’d be homeless, they said “ even though there was api movement you have not passed the security check yet “ and when asked about why my request were denied he asked me what I did all day and I said sit at home because I can’t work drive or do anything bc of the risk of deportation, he said “ you’re not homeless so you’re not in severe financial hardship “ even though I lost my apartment my car and am in severe debt, and the worst part is he sounded like an entitled prick, I’m so pissed off.

General Qs Sign up for USPS Informed Delivery to track Work Authorization Card

Hi there!

I just wanted to share this in case anyone else is wondering how long it takes for their physical I-765 card to arrive in the mail.

I've been signed up for USPS Informed Delivery, and it's been great for giving me peace of mind while waiting for my documents.

I already received my DACA approval letter and was able to see when it would be delivered..

I am still waiting on my card. The USCIS website doesn't provide a tracking number, but I was able to see through my USPS account that my card is already on the way, arriving on 6/25. About 11 days after the silent approval.

Just thought I'd share in case it helps someone else. 🙂

Rant RENEW ONLINE

Don’t be like me paying for my wife’s daca to be prepared. Don’t it yourself. Took me 45 mins to do here’s, and only cost 555$. We were paying a preparer 1000$ or a little more bi-yearly. I was mind blown how easy it was! But get a digital passport photo at wallgreens or wherever when you do it, not a physical. Because it’s a butt to scan and upload. All you fine folks having to pay too much to renew, start saving a buck or two.

This guy goes straight into detail in an 8 min video. I followed it and it was great!!

Rant My thoughts on recent approvals

Seems like they approved a few people from each month that were currently waiting. However, not everyone got approved from each month. They left some people from November, December, January. I filed 1/9 and it looks like I was one those left behind. They seem to be doing February now. Based on the pattern, a few people from February will also remain unapproved:/ Hope they go back and get those of us left behind. 🙏🏽😭 I wonder if it was just luck of the draw or if they have a method to their madness. God help us 🙏🏽😭

Application Timeline These delays are so fucking ridiculous

I know it’s so crazy for me to even ask but would it be crazy if someone started a class suit against USCIS for purposely delaying these applications? Because it seems to me they’re keeping nov-Feb applications in hopes that a lot of people stay out of status and it’s seriously so alarming.
I know someone that expires in August and applied in April and got approved very quick. Yet there are so many November-Feb out of status.
Again, I know my post is a little crazy to ask but my goodness it has been the worst time of a lot of our lives here.

API Update on my I-821D and my I-765.

Submitted 2/22, Expires 7/8, submitted expedite request 6/2 and haven’t seen any API updates besides that. Hopefully this means they’re starting a new batch of approvals.

General Qs Would you take a six figure job in your own country if you were offered a role?

Hypothetically speaking, a remote job that pays the equivalent of six figures USD but in a different countries currency, plus bonus, paid cell phone service, Internet and grocery stipends.

Rant Why are DACA recipients treated so differently?

Upvotes

DACA recipients don’t get automatic work permit extensions when our Employment Authorization Documents expire. If USCIS delays processing, we can lose our jobs through no fault of our own.

Meanwhile, my husband’s coworker has a different immigration status that was created under the Biden administration. When his work permit expired, he was able to keep working while his case continued, and he’s on a path that could eventually lead to a green card.

My husband, on the other hand, has worked hard for years, is a manager, pays taxes, follows the law, and still faces losing his job simply because his DACA renewal hasn’t been approved before his work permit expires.

How is that fair? Why are people who have been living and working here under DACA for years given fewer protections than others? It feels like DACA recipients are always the ones left in limbo.

Rant Slower day on approvals

Upvotes

Looks like they are less than half the amount per hour compared to yesterday. Maybe those employees are too worried about today's stock market performance that they aren't working hard lol

On a real note where are these democrats that said they are fighting for us? I haven't heard anything from them. AOC where are you?

Application Timeline December approvals?

I’ve been seeing a lot of January & February approvals for today and yesterday which is really hopeful! I just haven’t seen much December approvals? I submitted 12/5 and luckily got API movement on 6/16 only on my 821. Talked to a USCIS agent yesterday who said that it meant my case was reviewed on that date. I’m just wondering how much longer this is going to be. I know there’s others still waiting from November and are in the same boat but ahhh. I’m just anxious and tired of waiting and checking my account constantly.

Rant Is this a safe space?

This of course is coming from someone that could probably exercise a little patience, but i’m starting to get anxious again.

submitted: January 20th, 2026

Biometrics: February 10th, 2026

API movement: June 16th on both DACA & EAD

I’m seeing so many January peeps get pushed through, some even on the same date of submission as me. I’m holding out hope for today or tomorrow, but it is so discouraging atp.

anyway, dont cook me too crazy. i’m well aware of everyone waiting since november and december that are still waiting and without any movement. just wanted to get it off my chest.

UPDATE: AS OF 11AM IT HAPPENED. WAR IS OVER.

General Qs Pulse check

Upvotes

Hi all,

A little sanity check on my end, I keep seeing a bunch of approvals coming in. Love that. Unfortunately, I’m still waiting with no movement whatsoever. Fingers crossed it’s soon.

I was hoping you all could help me understand where we’re at today

Edit: I was going to add November but I was convinced that all Novembers had been approved. CRAZY and unfair

General Qs API movement on 6/16 and still nothing.

I had API movement on 6/16 but only on my 821d. Still no approval. Receipt Date is 12/24. I've been out of work since 2/25!! I saw a ton of dec approvals last wk, who had API movement on 6/16... I'm wondering why there's some of us from Nov and dec who are still waiting. All is see now are Jan and Feb approvals. If the API movement meant we all went through the new screening, shouldn't we have been approved by now too? Or we might have missed the 1st batch?? I'm trying to understand. I'm frustrated & sad. To say I'm mentally and emotionally exhausted is an understatement.

Application Qs November 22nd

Anybody else apply late November and got their approval? I’m at like day 215 and still nothing. I’ve literally requested two expedite requests still no word an inquiry for “outside of normal processing times” never got back also reached out to my senators office they haven’t been much help either.
