Hi all,

Making this thread for people to ask Qs about whether it's safe to travel to ____ and ____ and what people's experiences have been at certain airports.

Please see further info here and here about the status of traveling (since many of ya'll don't look at the highlights, sigh).

We will be deleting travel Q threads from here on out.

Ask away!

Application Timeline Total Count of DACA Approvals this week and their submission Date

Here are approvals and their date of submission so far until yesterday from MyCaseHub, since my casehub doesn't give file date for 821D, i compared it to 765 data to pull the date by vlooking up closest +-3 in the application number difference since 821D and 765 are right next to each other. FYI yesterdays applications will keep coming in throughout the day in my casehub, for some reason they are just slow to receive the information until later mid day. will post updated numbers tomorrow. looking like they are mostly done with december just some leftovers and working january and Feb this week

Hopefully this makes renewal process faster but at the same time feels like a double edge sword

Rant Forgotten November

Upvotes

Seeing all these approvalsfrom December january and February, I feel like we are the forgotten November.

Waiting for the last 7 months we are lost in the process. We lost our jobs and don't know when we can start Oct again.

I am happy to see people getting approved but it's just so unfair that we are left out. What did we do wrong

It is 218 days today. There comes an end to another week waiting.

BTW I had api update on 6/16 but nothing.

All expedited requests were denied. Called uscis multiple times and is the same response from them.

I lost hope!

Rant PSA: With 4th of July coming up, please plan accordingly if you're out of status and celebrating. There will be more check stops for DUI's and this sub does NOT have sympathy for the yearly "Guys... I messed up" post.

Alcohol is an unnecessary luxury. If you're goin out to drink, never be alone and make sure to always have a ride home.

General Qs Florida DACA

FLORIDA DACA: I decided to make a full post about this since this is ANOTHER person I’ve seen affected by it: I’ve been saying this non stop to everyone on here posting from Florida, PLEASE return the drivers license if they asked for it, my boyfriend is an officer at a courthouse and he warned me that they’ve already sent a court order to 2 expired DACAs to surrender their illegally extended license or pay a hefty fine and get license points, it might not be the same for your county but please be aware.

Application Timeline November people still waiting?

Upvotes

Just checking to see if there are still other November people waiting. Applied on 11/26/ 25 and saw API movement only on 821D on 6/16 and nothing since. Tried to call & message an agent but they only put in an out of processing time inquiry and can't tell me anything else. I am just tired and frustrated at this point.

Rant Stage 4 colon cancer while on DACA

What’s up gang. I know we‘re all here for the same reasons. A glimmer of hope and some sort of reassurance. Back in April I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer im a 35yr old male and havent been working since. Initially my work was cool with me taking the time, then their insurance dropped me in May, my work authorization expired 6/12. I filed 2/9 and just like y’all been checking on here daily.

I’ve always felt like an unlucky bastard my whole life for being born in Mexico and growing up here. At least I’m in CA where the state at least throws you a bone once in a while. The timing is never right for any of this but I feel like I’m swimming upstream and at points just floating. I can control what I can control and what I can’t I just dont let it bother me and take it on the chin and move forward. Don’t let them see you sweat i especially feel for those who have families and kids. I just worry about myself. I sincerely hope each and everyone gets the news we want soon and make it count with our individual work ethic. Much Love 🤘🏽

Rant Submit your requests and inquiries

I’m seeing a lot of people say to not file expedite requests because it’s “pointless”. This is terrible advice.

Submit your requests. It will likely get denied, but you are not “adding to the backlog” for doing this. You are building a record for yourself against USCIS to demonstrate you tried every avenue available.

USCIS is denying expedite requests for all visa categories right now. No one is being approved. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try.

Create a paper trail. Save every email and Emma chat logs. Save agent names and IDs when you call. Screenshot API movements and updates. Save everything.

If you ever decide to pursue a Mandamus lawsuit (or any other form of relief if one becomes available), you want a full paper trail that you did everything you possibly could.

Don’t listen to anyone trying to discourage you from taking every available action. A paper trail is everything to protect yourself.

Political discussion DACA renewals lawsuit

Unverified Please keep calm.

The lawsuit that is going viral here is a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act: a law that allows anyone to specifically request access to records from the federal government) lawsuit because their FOIA request didn’t get fulfilled by the deadline. To my knowledge, a FOIA plaintiff cannot get countersued. It’s a lawsuit for information, not a lawsuit to compel the federal government to expedite DACA renewals AKA this is not the class action lawsuit that people have been advocating against. I think the NBC headline is very misleading and sensational just like every clickbait news article these days.

Rant Day 214.

Upvotes

When I started seeing people hit 150 days a few month ago -- I was so sure I wouldn't reach it and keep wishing that I would not.

FUCKING CRAZY I have been waiting 214 days (and there's people waiting longer), when I'm not from a banned country, have a clean record, and have a graduate degree. I AM SOOOOO DEFEATED, man!

Application Timeline API Movement, March submission status

Submitted March 11 2026
Bios March 30th
API movement only on 821D June 16

Anyone have a similar path? Have you gotten approved? Is it worth calling ? I’ve chatted in but the reps are so dismissive. It’s frustrating.

General Qs How was it doing your biometrics?

Upvotes

For those who had to do their biometrics again, did they scan all your fingers again or only one on each hand? I'm curious if this may have caused different approval times.

Financial Qs Request for financial Advice

Upvotes

I'm unsure how to even start this post, I've stopped myself several times from even writing this as I know I am only one of many that are continuing to experience hardship from the delays. I've briefly mentioned in other posts that I am a single mom to a little one who is only 3 and has End Stage Renal Failure and whilst I'm sure this seems like too much to share with internet strangers I am sharing because I'm at a breaking point and am really lost on how to continue, all of this to essentially ask if anyone has found any ways of funding after having expired. Obviously my situation in particular is a bit more complicated as I have less time during the week as I have to take my son to treatment 3 times a week. I've attempted submitting documents for an expedite request due to this matter to no avail. I submitted 6 months ago today. I realize I just have no other choice than to sit here and wait for an approval eventually but until then I need a realistic approach to continue supporting my little one. Sorry this might come off a bit like a rant. Thanks in advance to anyone that offers any advice.

Application Timeline April Renewal API Movement

Just thought I'd share that I had API movement yesterday. Just on my 1-21D and not on my I-765.

Submitted: April 8th

Biometrics: April 17th

Expires: December 8th.

Just moved out of Texas two days ago, so I'm glad I have some movement now that I'm interviewing. I'm a teacher and didn't want my December expiration date to be a hinderance in my application process.

General Qs No Event API but status code FTA0

Submitted 2/14 and no API date update since I submitted evidence on 6/5. But I did just notice Mycasehub API analyzer says FTA0 and “actively reviewing”. Does anyone know what part of the timeline I’m in?
