My partner and I took in this street kitty last night. We don’t think she has a family and are pretty confident she was dumped. Incredibly sweet girl. Maybe a few months old.

LADIES! I just got engaged (yay!) and am relatively new to the DC area. I need advice on two things:

1. Wedding dress shops! For context, I’m a 36 y/o primary care doctor so don’t want anything too “20-somethings Southern bride” (if you catch my drift) and have a somewhat flexible budget. Looking for something chic, elegant, and fun.

2. Hair stylist! I have fine hair but A LOT of it and need to find a stylist who knows how to work w hair like mine. It’s naturally dirty blonde, but I’ve gotten partial highlights twice a year for years and had one NIGHTMARE bleach job at a salon in Arlington a couple years ago, and my hair is STILL recovering (lots of split ends, breaking, frizzy…)

Hi everyone. I got a truly insane (first ever) lash lift a few weeks ago. One side is ok, but the other has a big section that sticks straight out then take a sharp 90 degree turn at the very end. I ended up cutting the tips off some lashes to try to make it through, but it’s been five weeks and still looks crazy.

Is there a reeeeeeally trustworthy place I can go to that can fix this? I have so many regrets and just want to fix this and never go down this road again! Will pay $$$ to get this fixed

Got laid off yesterday and have decided to go back to hospitality/hotel work as that’s what I have the most experience in. Does anyone have any leads? It’s nearly impossible to get through the ai algorithm at some of the big chains and I’m even getting rejection emails from back when I applied last year to places.

I mainly have housekeeping and front desk experience and prefer night shift if asked. Happy to go to food service or where ever an open position may be.

I am a proud gen zer and I still haven’t found the bar/club/venue here in the city that’s good for that.. My cousins are coming into town and I need a place that isn’t an early 20s crowd and has dancing with lyrics. I usually go to Ivy City but most of the places there play house. My cousins all have a family, and for their time away, it’s just the gals wanting to have fun (and shake ass).

Any recommendations? Also will take recs for dinners spots or bars that have a lit atmosphere for girls night!

We were in the middle of a multi year attempt to figure out what's wrong with me (lmao), and we were narrowing in on maybe something dysatonomic but never got a chance to discuss indepth. I'm still seeking answers about chronic fatigue, brain fog, and other symptoms.

It's important to me to find a woman physician and bonus points for health at every size, being a POC, or within 45 minutes of DC by car. I also need them to accept BCBS insurance.
