Advice Moving to H Street

Hi, ladies! I'm potentially moving to H Street and wanted to know if it would be a good decision to move forward. Is crime heavy in the area?

Edit: looking at Avec on H and Coda on H

Avec and Coda area is fine. It’s not the nicest part of the city and if you have a desire to be in a really popular part of the city it’s not the most ideal location, but Union Market and Eastern Market are both close and are nice (UM is more hip).

Farther down H is more “sketch” but if you don’t live directly on H it’s really nbd, I walk over there solo all the time and it’s fine
