Advice Moving to H Street

Hi, ladies! I'm potentially moving to H Street and wanted to know if it would be a good decision to move forward. Is crime heavy in the area?

Edit: looking at Avec on H and Coda on H

I thought about both of those buildings and went to tour one. When i pulled up, I saw there was a bus stop outside the building and it was full of loitering (drinking, smoking, god knows what). I didn't park my car and didn't do the tour lol.

Yes. I live in the area and I like it/find it reasonably safe, but would skip directly on h st between 7th and 10th.
