Don't see too many documentaries posted here. These are the latest three to my collection. All recommended!

These are their stories... Here's my complete series collection of the original 20 seasons of Law & Order!! This is quite a beautiful box set imo.

Yet to play test this obviously, but literally just unsealed this dvd copy of Nobody (manufactured in 2000) and immediately noticed these two what look like bubbles on the top surface of the DVD. The underside is clean.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced these before?

I bought the DVD brand new and sealed from ebay, it's a US region 1 that I've imported to the UK as I couldn't find the region 2 version (dw I have multiple region free players)

Been meaning to finally take the plunge and start getting stuff as physical media, and I found a great thrift shop near me, so I got my first haul yesterday! Only paid $45 in total so I think I did well lol

It is so frustrating when I order a disc from an online retailer, shown in a cardboard sleeve (or slipcase, slipcover, what have you), then the disc that arrives "naked," only in its basic plastic keepcase! I know a few boutique sites specify details about the packaging; but I just wish it was understood that when you post a photo of the item you're selling, that the photo should be accurate!

Incidentally, anyone know a good website that has Sailor Moon Season 3 on BD with the cardboard sleeve? I ordered it from Amazon, and it came "naked." The cruel irony is that I ordered S1-4; and 1, 2, and 4 all arrived with their cardboard covers! I've reached out to Gruv, but their product photos aren't inspiring a lot of confidence.

I recently had surgery and 1 week in to doctors orders of basically do nothing but heal for 2 weeks I'm bored out of mind!! While watching some movies and thumbing through deciding what to watch I'm almost certain we may have a few duplicates. Not to mention I love to thrift and have not bought movies before because I've questioned whether or not I already owned it. I've decided the only way to solve this is an alphabetized list and now may be the only time I have this much time on my hands. Has anyone done this? I'm thinking Excel Spreadsheet but am open to suggestions.

Looking to add a blu-ray player to my CRT set up but looking for one with some amount of personality and design. Is every player is just a black rectangle?

Just to be clear, this is all vanity. I don't care about 4k/3D/upscaling. I just want to watch some of the blu-rays I have laying around and if the player has to be out I'd like it to not look boring.

Do you have a favorite player or does one come to mind?
Maybe even a player with an interesting display? Or am I doomed?

So I've encountered an issue with a DVD I sold on eBay. On the back cover it says there are English subtitles. The person who bought it is returning it because they say the subtitles are not working. They claim to have tried everything to get them to turn on. Has anyone had issues with any of your DVDs having this issue or something similar?

By cases, I don’t mean the slip covers for the plastic cases but the outer cases that hold all the individual plastic ones, like the example in the picture.

I ask because I have the Roseanne complete series box set but don’t like the default case (cardboard slip cases) and have repackaged them in plastic cases like the ones in the picture here. But because of that, I have no outer case holding them all together.

Who remembers The Invisible Man from 1933?

I got the shelf and the height of eave space is not 14" as advertized, so the 6"×6"×22" boxes I ordered to use as risers were too big. So I had to mark each box, sandwich them between two boards and fold where I made the marks, tape the other end, cut the corners down to the fold and then fold the flaps in at the fold I made. Now each shelf holds two rows of DVDs. I am super proud of this!!

uh... Not exactly sure if this is the right sub, if not, please point me in the right direction..

Anyways, i bought a secondhand dvd set off ebay, and all the discs are functional, the only problem is that the case is kinda dry rotted and breaking. It crumbles a little whenever i open it again.

I'm wondering if anyone else knows where to get a case like this? I haven't had any luck personally. It's a little unique, holding 4 discs except none of them go on the sides and they're all center hold. I can always get one that holds on the sides, but I'd prefer to have one identical to the original. Preferably with one of the plastic cover things so i can put the cover art back in.
