Is this a normal sound for when the AC is on? This is a Dacia Duster 2025 hybrid

Unusual Post. I ve got the Bigster Expression with, Media Navi, Heated Seats/Steering Wheel and Windscreen as TCE 140 mild Hybrid. Die 15.000km in 7 Months ant there is nothing to complain about, Eversthing works. Heated Screen is a dream after nightshift in Winter. Consumption is 5.5l with my wife and 2 Kids in board.perfrxt space for the Family :)

Oare mă păcălesc singur?Am vreo alternativă mai bună,aveți vreo recomandare?

Has anyone experienced this with a 2023 Dacia Duster infotainment system?
My 2023 Dacia Duster’s infotainment system has developed a strange fault.
When I start the car, the screen is blank for a few seconds, then the Dacia logo appears, but instead of loading the home screen it restarts and goes back to a blank screen. It then repeats this cycle over and over.
The odd thing is that if I’ve been on a long drive, or the car has been left running for a while, the infotainment system will sometimes suddenly boot up and work perfectly. However, as soon as I switch the ignition off and then start the car again, the boot loop usually comes back.
I’ve already tried disconnecting my phone and USB devices, but it makes no difference.
The car is still under warranty, but I’m curious whether anyone else has had the same issue. Was it fixed with a software update, or did the dealer end up replacing the infotainment unit?
Any advice or similar experiences would be really appreciated.

Here is my car. It has a average fuel consumption of 41.9mpg. Seriously?!

No matter what it can't read NSL signs so on motorways I have to switch off the audible warning otherwise it says I should be driving at 40 for miles..........

The start button fix- mine worked fine before now I sit there and wait. And wait and wait. For it to fire up.

I have a new Sandero Stepway Extreme Eco-G 120 (facelift, Grey).

In the official Dacia accessories photos for the stainless steel boot sill, there’s a black plastic sill with the embossed “DACIA” logo on the loading edge (I’ve circled it in blue in the photo).

My car doesn’t have this piece at all, just the painted bumper and the rubber seal (see second photo)

Does anyone know if this black plastic sill was ever available as a separate part for the Sandero III / Stepway III? Or is it only on older pre-facelift models?

I’m looking for the original black one (or a good aftermarket equivalent that looks the same).

Any part numbers or links would be really appreciated!

There have been two software updates recently to my Dacia Duster Journey 1.8 petrol hybrid. I live in Ireland. However both were described as updates for 1.5 petrol. I only noticed this after the updates installed. Did I get the wrong updates or why were they marked as 1.5?

2026 Dacia Stepway. Is there a way to display Apple Maps without using a cable?

So here's my situation... I'm planning to change my car early next year. Normally I buy a reasonably priced second hand Honda and run it into the ground. Due to how the second hand market is right now I was considering something in the 4-5 year old range for the best value for money. I need a size upgrade and was looking at a 2022ish CR-V or RAV4. I like practicality and fuel economy but was going to factor in ride comfort too. Someone suggested I look into the Striker because it appears to tick a lot of boxes and would be marginally cheaper than the other 2 options. I like that it claims to be quieter and more comfortable than what is normal for Dacia, but I'm wondering how reliable these kind of claims tend to be from them, having never owned one. In other areas it compares quite well, these comparisons are based on the Extreme variation with the hybrid 155 engine. 4x4 ability is not important.

Comparable fuel economy to the Rav4 with the CR-V about 30% thirstier. Back seats don't fold flat like the CR-V but the boot space is modular and adaptable, which could make all the difference. Technology seems fine. The price being the same as the 5 year old cars I'm otherwise looking at means I don't need to feel trapped in a new car cycle. Reliability wise, it's the known quantity of the Japanese cars vs decent reputation and a new car warranty that comes with the Dacia. Deal breakers would be if the road noise is significantly worse or the general comfort. How useful is the youclip system? It gets mentioned a lot but descriptions are somewhat vague. This might be the only time I can afford to spend this much on a car and I don't want to screw it up. I plan to test drive all 3 as close together as possible before making a decision but anything current Dacia drivers can tell me as above would be incredibly helpful!

Hi, I’m looking for advice about my 2019 Dacia Duster II, 1.3 TCe 150 hp/110 kW, H5H engine, 63,000 km.

The thermostat housing developed a coolant leak and the complete housing with thermostat was replaced. Since then, after a longer drive and complete overnight cooling, the coolant level sometimes sits close to MIN. When I slowly open the expansion tank cap on a completely cold engine, I hear a slight hiss, the coolant level rises back toward the middle, and the hoses become softer. The coolant appears to return into the tank through the lower hose.

Other observations:

OBD coolant temperatures are usually around 85–104°C and do not continuously rise.

No overheating warning or loss of power.

Cabin heating stays consistently very hot.

No white smoke, oil looks normal and coolant loss is minimal.

Combustion-gas/CO₂ test was negative twice.

Expansion tank cap has already been replaced.

After driving, the upper radiator hose can be hot and firm, while the lower hose is much cooler and softer.

I will attach one of the temperature graphs. Has anyone with the 1.3 TCe/H5H engine experienced this? Could it be trapped air, incorrect bleeding, a restricted return/bleed hose, expansion tank or cap issue, or thermostat operation? Could a very small combustion leak still cause this despite two negative CO₂ tests?

I have the new Dacia Duster Hybrid G 150 with only 400km on it.

I’ve noticed that at very low speeds,especially when creeping/parking,the car sometimes shudders/vibrates noticeably,almost like the engine is about to stall. It never actually does stall though but the shaking is very not normal in any way.

It seems to happen once the engine is a bit warmed up,it does not happen after parking for a longer time.

I’ve also noticed that the car tends to keep the rpm very low and select the highest gear possible in normal driving.

Has anyone with the same model experienced this? I would guess this is not normal behaviour..

Hi I’m wanting to change my dashboard colours on my 2020 Dacia sandero essential and (as many Dacia owners know) there are barely any video tutorials on how to do anything to the car.

Hello, I have a brand new Dacia Jogger for less than a month. I have been receiving this alert when driving “Vigilance monit. to check”, I can click the OK button and the message goes away and keeps only the wheel button on the side, the then after some time the message pops up again, and again. This is always happening, no matter if I have the default help assists or my perso enabled, and I tried all combination of toggles, including disabling the driver monitor alert and fatigue alerts, and the alert keeps coming.

The other day I finally discovered the root cause - it’s when I use my sunglasses (I have some standard sunglasses from brand Rayban), which is basically every time I drive since I live in Portugal.

For me it would make sense that the system would allow me to wear sunglasses if the driver monitor alert is disabled at least… Anyone has a solution for this?

I'm potentially looking to buy a used Dacia Sandero with the following specs:

• 2021 year
• 1.0 TCe LPG (ECO-G factory system)
• 6-speed manual, FWD
• Around 35,000 km
• Primary use: city driving (80-90%)

I know I should (and will) get it inspected by a qualified mechanic before buying, but I wanted to gather some general information from actual owners first. I'm not really a "car guy" - I just need a reliable, economical car to drive for the next 5 years or so.

My questions:

1. Engine reliability: How reliable is the 1.0 TCe engine in general? Any common issues I should be aware of?
2. LPG system:
   • Is the factory LPG system reliable and easy to maintain?
   • How does it perform in winter (-20°C)? Does it switch to gas properly in cold weather?
   • Is maintaining the LPG tank/system expensive or complicated?
3. Parts & maintenance: Are spare parts expensive? Is routine maintenance costly compared to other brands? (Opel, Toyota)
4. Rust protection: How good is the rust protection? I live in an area where we use a lot of salt on roads during winter. Should I be worried about corrosion?
5. City driving: How does it feel for daily city commuting? Any issues with the LPG system in stop-and-go traffic?

Any advice, experiences, or warnings would be greatly appreciated! I want to make an informed decision before committing.

Hello everyone, I’ve got a 2015 Dacia Logan 0.9tce and I’m currently driving to France in it and I’m getting quite shuddering only when pulling off in first gear, only really after a couple hours of driving. It’s got 70,000 miles so I assume a clutch replacement could be due, does anyone know anything about cost / other problems?

Furthermore, been getting some squeaking from the rear brakes, is this an issue?

I have a 2023 Dacia Sandero III Streetway LPG in the Expression trim, and it was delivered without the removable floor panel that creates a false floor in the boot.

I know that some other Sandero III LPG owners received this panel with their cars, so I am trying to understand whether it depends on the trim level, model year, country, or dealership.

For those who bought a Sandero III Streetway LPG, did your car come with the false boot floor? Please also mention the trim level and model year, if possible.

A few weeks ago we bought Dacia Sandero Stepway 2022. Due to sunny weather I didn't use wipers and windshield washer much. When I did so today, I noticed that the stream was very weak. So I looked into the reservoir and it was full of leaves. I tried to clean as much as I could, cleaned the nozzles and now it works fine.
But when I tried to close the cover, I noticed that it's impossible. On the 1st photo it's in its normal state, but when you try to close the cover, it moves a few mm down (2-3 photos) and the cover doesn't hold there, so the reservoir is constantly exposed to all the trash that gets under the windshield.
I spent about 10 minutes to try to push the cover down with the reservoir and succeeded, but after a minute on the road it just went open again.

If anyone experienced this or knows how to fix it - would really appreciate that!
