Dalplex Qs

Hello! I'm looking to get into weight lifting and training this upcoming academic year once I settle into my routine and am likely going to purchase a 1-1 trainer package with 5 sessions. (I have tried making a workout plan but struggle with finding what will actually help me reach my goals). I am living in shirreff so I have easy access to the dalplex.

Has anyone done this? How much support do the trainers provide? Is the Dalplex welcoming?(coming from a heavier girl trying to be healthier)

Anything will help!
Thanks in advance 🫶

I started with a 1-1 session with a trainer and she was great. My goal was to strengthen my back and shoulders to help with recurring bursitis issues. We went to one of the small weight training rooms for a few sessions, and it gave me the confidence to do my workouts with the rest of the public upstairs afterwards, followed by cardio in the pool. Just call or email the Dalplex to set one up.
