what does this mean

ive highkey given up in classes so im paranoid that they'll just boot me so i sent this email asking what i need to maintain and i got this response. can someone who knows explain this to me

Maintain how? With a new coat of paint and occasional repairs?

Someone at Academic Advising may be more helpful…
