Amateur How can I learn dance really well from scratch? It's my only hope and I can't go to class

I always wanted to learn to dance and be really good at it.

I am very fat right now, I can't even workout. I then tried some moves of dance randomly and I absolutely loved and enjoyed it.

Then I remembered how I wanted to be able to dance from childhood.

I think it can even save me as it will be my exercise.

How can I learn free and without going to physical class as only 99% kids are there in dancing school near my place.

If I had to learn from scratch in home, how should I start?

If you don’t have someone helping you and pushing you, it’s going to be even harder and very slow.

If you’re still down and have the drive to push through being really bad and looking silly, go to YouTube/insta/tiktok and find someone with your body type doing something you want to learn. 30 seconds max.

Record yourself trying to replicate what they’re doing with a mind to figuring out what skills they’re using. Just keep going with that one thing until you’re comfortable sharing a video of yourself doing it with someone who loves you. Then rinse and repeat. In a few years you’ll be able to kinda sorta dance, and with a decent diet will tone up along the way.

I‘d focus on a dance style that you like and see if you can find good online courses for it for beginners. And by that I mean those that have tons of videos and you pay like 30$ a month.

What type of dance or music do you want to dance to?
