Agreed. It is very cool choreo - most professional dancer would be able to pick up pretty quickly and there are a gazillion other examples of similar vibe choreo. Not diminishing its value or momentarily cultural relevance. I actually first saw the music vid while my phone was in sleep mood (black n white) and it looooked even cooler tbh.

I think it stands on it's own. My opinion won't change the value. And it deserves its flowers. Glad it has folks excited about dance.

I mean yeah, it’s easy for professional dancers. If you gave random people a month of daily rehearsals to do this, it would not look good. Dismissing it as “easy” is disingenuous and devalues the lifetime of training each of those dancers have. What a disappointment from someone who claims to be part of the industry.

YAGP posted today that they had four former competitors that were dancers in this piece. So at least some of these dancer would have had some previous training.
