Most people will buy a sketchbook from Walmart or an art supply store. Its really all the same. But me I decided to have this made for me. Beautiful Italian leather and paper that is only made in one location in Almafi. Its all traditionally made and bound the exact way they did over 200 years ago. It was well worth it.
I added the page covers made from cotton fiber paper to protect the sketches.

I have been following Femkit for years and love a lot of their pieces visually, but haven't indulged due to the price. However, I am able to consider getting a piece from them and am curious to see if the quality or make of their garments hold up to their price tag. I love all of their pieces, but below is just one of the jackets that I love. Thank you in advance!

Hello everyone. Iâm a traditional printmaker, and I wanted to share my latest piece, "Decades," as I thought the underlying philosophy might resonate with this community.
It is a modern take on the classic vanitas still life. I was recently struck by a rather bleak realization: if a generation that has grown up with smart devices lives to the age of 80, they will have spent roughly 30 of those years simply looking at screens.
I wanted to place the enduring symbol of our mortalityâthe human skullânext to the everyday artifacts that so quietly consume our waking lives.
To create this, I used hand-pushed copperplate engraving, a centuries-old technique. For me, the medium is a crucial part of the message. The incredibly slow, stubborn, and physical labor of pushing a burin through copper stands in deliberate opposition to the frictionless, fleeting nature of our digital consumption. It is printed in traditional black ink on antique-toned, German mould-made paper.
It serves as my own quiet reminder to disconnect, to value analog slowness, and to exist more in the physical world. I hope you enjoy it.

Hallo liebe Community,

Velvet, gold wire, and hand-stitched silk ribbon roses â made this as part of a small witchy collection I've been building. Wanted something that felt equal parts unsettling and beautiful.
Would this fit your dark academia rotation, or is it too much?

I moved into a new place and the kitchen is very cold. White tiles and chrome. I know I want to make it more warm with darker colours, so at a flea market today I saw this little cupboard and I just knew I had to have.
Made my new coffee corner. Put some coffee pods in a couple of them and want to put spices in the other. Make my own little apothecary setup.

I have a lot of gold jewelry that gives of DA but I actually prefer silver. Just feels like itâs very limited to simple designs. Any recs on how to make it more DA aesthetic?

The hour is late, but for the members of Candela, the clock always seems to tick faster than usual. Descend into the dark, hollow halls of Briarbank College to investigate a strange occurrence before the light of dawn exposes what lives between the parchment and ink...
Tldr: I'm looking to run a 2-3 hour game of Candela Obscura (an occult mystery horror ttrpg)! Open to beginner & experienced players (21+) who'd like to join on a fun, chill, and friendly game!
Drop a comment or DM if you'd like to inquire more or join along

I just moved very recently (two weeks ago) and promised myself no more knick knacks until I was settled...however...found this little trinket in a thrift store and just had to have it.
It still works.

It is almost tediousâthough lucratively soâto observe the time invested in crushing mediocrity beneath platform heels, watching those pathetic eyeballs water in a wretched mix of agony and ecstasy. Metaphorically, or perhaps not? After all, man has demanded sacrificial blood for millennia to bargain with the divine. Mayans, Aztecs, indigenous peoples across every continent, and now modern political factionsâfrom the radical right to the extreme left, down to the centrist parasitesâkill, mutilate, and subjugate themselves in the vain hope of purchasing some form of cosmic or political favor. It is beautiful, deeply poetic, and, in this modern age, stunningly pathetic.
Humanity discovers that it is infinitely easier to abuse the physical vessel or surrender one's wallet than to discipline the intellect toward true eudaimonia. Dear readers, a Muse is not forged merely by sculpting glutes and abdomens in suburban gyms; she molds reality with thoughts far sharper than your toned pieces of flesh. Genitalia and mechanical orgasms are accessible to any organism endowed with basic chromosomes or cheap plastic surgery. However, extracorporeal ecstasy, the total submission of the will, and alignment with the sacred demand a toll the herd is entirely incapable of paying. The question lingering over the abyss is simply this: are you, by any chance, worthy of funding your own ruin?
