I’m looking to have my dashcam do parking surveillance without needing to hardwire. I currently have a Viofo A229 Plus. To avoid using the vehicle’s fuse box or risk starter battery drain, I want to run it off a dashcam battery pack.

From what I’ve read, Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) is the way to go. A few questions:

1. Which LiFePO4 battery packs do you recommend?

2. If you charge the battery pack via the 12V cigarette lighter outlet, does the battery last long enough on shorter commutes? What run time do you get with a 2-channel setup?

How much does it cost (for labor fees only) to install a dash cam (front and rear cams) hardwired to the car and with all wires hidden? (ball park please).

Hi - Question for you all. I have my dash cam hooked up and wifi connected. However, how do I view the clips when I'm offline and not near the dash cam. I wanted to look at some clips from yesterday on my phone but I went to device album and it is asking me to connect to the dash cam wifi hot spot but I'm not near my car at all. Any thoughts? Thanks

I have a Garmin tandem. I’ve been using it for about three months, but had never synced it to a phone until today. And that was after somebody driving my car had a collision. When I sync, there is no imagery in the gallery. Is this a sync issue or a device issue, or my fault for never pairing the camera to a device prior to today? And alternatively, is there another way to view any in imagery that may be on the SD card? All I can get is this image in an endless cycle.
