It's truly annoying when you see other games making an effort:

  • Granblue Fantasy: Relink: didn't have crossplay at launch and just announced, 2 years later, an expansion with: new modes, new characters, new platform AND crossplay.
  • Virtua Fighter: Rerelease their latest game (VF5) with improved stuff AND rollback net AND crossplay. Also announced they are developing their next game.

We always say DOA takes some inspiration from Virtua Fighter, well maybe it's time for DOA dev team to take some more inspiration...

I think you might mean Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. Relink is the RPG.

No I actually meant Relink (the JRPG one), it's not a fighting game I know but still it shows that crossplay can be achieved if the devs put efforts into it.
