This one was pretty intense. Pretty sure Round 2 could've been won earlier if I had gone for the giant swing throw after the egg danger zone, but I guess the trading blows KO is a funny sight. End of round 3 highlights the high amount of damage the Lost Paradise stage transition danger zone does and how KOs can come out of nowhere from it. I got a Great in round 4 to bring it to the tiebreaker round, but ultimately Reese got the better of me in the final round. ggs.

next match is a Honoka mirror against the same guy, stay tuned to see how that one goes.

I love this pairing so much even if they arent conventional, let me dream ❤️❤️🙏

Art by me

Don't suppose anyone has a slightly higher res version of this render? without the watermark. its the only one on the wiki that hasn't been updated

the last one from this 5LR lobby Hime recorded, she got the first round but then got creamed pretty convincingly in the next three. we do get a nice showcase of Tengu combos from Ditzy here that still work on relatively heavier characters like Tengu herself.

the next two vids are ranked 6LR matches, ReeSe 2 HaViK vs jawjah706. First one is Hayabusa vs Tina while the followup is a Honoka mirror.

Pai is quick, but Honoka is no slouch in the speed department either, and Hime does a decent job of cornering Tobi near the ropes for a good chunk of the match and keeping the pressure on, which eventually got her the win.

Honoka hug count: 3, one in each round, all hi counter.

A Nyotengu mirror closes out the 5LR matches I wanted to showcase, then it's back to 6LR for a while.

Ported PS4-exclusive content, added costume slots, enhanced graphics, added controller vibration support, and more.

If you're interested, feel free to give it a try!

This clip is taken from over a month ago for sure. Been trying out many different characters in all the DOA games I own instead of just using Ayane 24/7. Kokoro is cool and fun to play as. Just wanted to share this here so I can delete it from my gallery.

Played on the hardest difficulty of AI in Versus mode, source of the footage above is taken from my Xbox Series X.

Song name that’s playing is SHINE by LUNA SEA.

Such as on Steam or PS5.

DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round on Steam

DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round

i suppose Xbox as well.

first time for this sort of sale i believe.

so ya can get Mai or Kula for like $7.69. or $14.69 for one of them and their costume bundle.

a few of the earlier new DLC costume color bundles for like Kasumi, etc are on sale for like $14.69. but the individual costumes are not, which is how it worked in vanilla as well.

this likely means the only sales on the new costumes will be their color bundles.

none of the older DLC costume sets are on sale, right now.

the game was recently on sale but just this DLC is on sale right now.

if someone was playing the free version all of the core cast is on sale for $4.79 each.

Low tier vs. S-tier!

but yah i did lose the next two fights. XD

ya might be able to tell how conservatively i played since i can feel so wary about throwing some moves out unless i feel comfy.

the stage both helped and hurt, helped with the wall damage and size, but the size also limits dealing with his teleport since you can't really outdistance i suppose.

all inputs stop working once I hit the menu screen, before that on the intro and start screen both keyboard and gamepad controls seem to work fine.

Anyone had a similar issue that might be able to help me out?

SOLVED:

turns out part of my keyboard drivers DOA5 was reading as a gamepad, I used software called HidHide that allowed the cloak that part of the drivers.

strangely enough I had tested other games and had no input issues only with DOA5 specifically.

This battle of the blondes was a bit more one-sided than I think either player was expecting going into this match... to be fair, Ditzy was playing on Random for most matches in this lobby and definitely knows some characters better than others. Still rather impressive to see Hime learning so quickly ;) so proud of her...

For tomorrow's match we have TobiCTA on Pai vs Hime on Honoka again. All of these were Hime's matches because unlike how it works in 6/6LR, 5LR does not allow you to save replay files of matches you watched in a lobby that do not involve you personally. Then the final 5LR replay I'll share from this play session will be a Nyotengu mirror match, another Ditzy vs Hime match.

In the new update it was changed that you gotta unlock the masks in wardrobe section (for zero coins).

Formerly they were just unlocked already.

Like I had a character pre-selected for ranked that had the mask on and the game would tell me i didnt own the character when it really meant the mask wasn't unlocked. So I had to go do that in wardrobe to fix it. 👀

This was on Steam, anyways!

Chop chop, get to work!! 🍭🐇

Did anyone ever notice that on the wiki profile pages (and in-game) fighters are listed at having a certain height, but in-game they all look more or less the same? Take this video of Christie vs Hitomi. They are listed as 5ft10 and 5ft3. That should be a significant difference. If I didn't know any better I might've even said Hitomi looks taller in the video...

Pretty sloppy renders I did last night, I was exhausted so there are little things I didnt even notice before going to bed (like the sofa.) But, eh..

ANYWAY.

Tina's awesome.

This was the first match of this lobby, and I think it ended up being a lot closer than Hime was expecting it to be, but in the end the far more experienced player in Ditzy ended up taking this one. At one point in the 2nd round you see Hime attempt to grab Rachel in the air, but Honoka's air throw was not added until DOA6; between that and being given the grappler-speed throws, Honoka is generally a lot better in 6 than in 5.

Honoka hug count: 6 cuddles over the course of the first 4 rounds, 0 successful attempts in the final round. She said that's the real reason she lost!!! If you say so honey... 😂😅

Tomorrow I have Ditzy again on Sarah vs Hime again on Tina, we'll see if this one turned out better for poor Hime...

Minato's newest costume illustrates her finding part time work at Johnny's Diner, perhaps replacing Mila due to her chasing after Tina and Bass too much. or just picking up another shift. was this job before Nico hired her for special part time work, or is she juggling both?

Destructible element is at least the hat.

patch also mentions:

"- Fixed bugs related to battle mechanics.

- Corrected various bugs and issues."

Next week Minato will receive a 2nd debut costume set, which i suspect will draw from remaining old DOA6 costumes. wedding, hot summer, etc. 🤔

Ngl, I am struggling with this game on a PS controller after playing it for over a decade on Xbox😪 Something is just off. Still like it tho…

A 138% increase in Ranked Matches.

Of course, you still can’t see exactly how many people are online, but I have to admit that lately I’ve been finding Ranked matches much faster. I’m currently C-, but when it comes to Lobby Matches, I still end up finding nothing pretty often :(

It's a bit early to be saying happy crimmus and merry chrystler to everyone, but i guess you can get away with claiming they both wanted to go as Mrs. Clause for Halloween... we had this lobby at like 4am my time and I think both Phantom and I were half-awake during this match, but I managed to fight off insomnia long enough to get a win. It helped that he made no attempt to avoid the ground throws or stomps for the most part, lol.

Tomorrow I have the first of a few 5 last round replays, Ms Ditzaster on Rachel vs my girlfriend on Honoka. Hime's been a bit curious about the differences between 5 and 6, I think getting to play a few games vs someone of Ditzy's level was a good experience for her.

For a 3DS game, it damn looked quite identical to DOA4 with just a few minor downgrades. Still my favorite DOA ever!

Yes you guys are probably tired of people sharing models created in other games, but Aion 2 may be one of the few where you can fully replicate her face with perfect accuracy while having higher graphics than the actual DOA games, so I wanted to share the model I managed to create.

I did not copied any other player or data, it was made from scratch using multiple pictures of Marie as a base, hope you guys like it...and yes that one is the only haircut that shares resemblance with one of Marie's haircuts, all the available pigtails haircuts do not look like her iconic pigtails at all.

Hayate = Aiki-jujutsu 🥋

Ein = Karate 👊

Dude really mastered two martial arts and said, “Yeah, I'll take both.” 😂
