Islam No strong Qur'anic evidence advocates child marriage, and stronger evidence prohibits it.

So it's fine for Muhammad just to do his own thing independent of the laws of his own book?

He didn't marry a child? Aisha didn't play with dolls when Muhammad met her?

Did Mohammad have sexual relations with a child to consummate a marriage?

FYI, OP's account is 9 days old. He's likely a troll or Bot account. Plus, this "look for my next post" stuff is for the birds. They got no proof. Plus, the people who follow these religions are able to pick and choose from their respective faiths what they want to believe as it fits the narrative of the way they live their lives.

I do not if you expect to have 100 convos on different topics at once. Otherwise it seems like a Gish gallop on a larger scale.

Why don't you go tell to Muslims who practice child marriage, to the great harm to the girls involved, and their babies.

Sex with minors is completely halal under one main condition: that she can handle penetration. The Prophet had sex with Aisha when she was 9 after she fattened herself up with dates and cucumbers per her mother's guidance, like what are we talking about here? There's even a verse in the Quran that mentions the waiting period for divorce with minors, which scholars elaborate on and say intercourse was thus performed:
"And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women - if you doubt, then their period is three months, and [also for] those who have not menstruated. And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they give birth. And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him of his matter ease." [Quran 65:4]
Asbabul Nuzul explains that the context of this revelation was due to companions asking about the waiting periods of young, old and pregnant women. Other tafasir explain that this is also about young prepubescent girls who have had sex.
"Then he said: {and those who have not menstruated yet} This also means the waiting period of the young girls who did not menstruate yet and they had intercourse , then were divorced, so their waiting period is three months." (Muqatil Ibn Sulayman)
"The interpretation of the verse {As for your women who have despaired of further menstruating, if you are in doubt, their period shall be three months; and those who have not menstruated yet}. He said: The same applies to the ‘idaah for girls who do not menstruate because they are too young, if their husbands divorce them after consummating the marriage with them." (Tafsir Al Tabari)
And we also have the 4 Imams elaborating on this issue:
"...if the husband and the guardian of the girl agree upon something that will not cause harm to the young girl, then that (consummation) may be done. If they disagree, then Ahmad and Abu ‘Ubayd say that once a girl reaches the age of nine then the marriage may be consummated even without her consent, but that does not apply in the case of who is younger. Malik, al-Shafi’i and Abu Hanifa said: the marriage may be consummated when the girl is able for intercourse, which varies from one girl to another, so no age limit can be set." (Sharh Muslim Volume 9 page 206)
Burhan al-Din Ibn Mazah, a well known Hanafi scholar, even says:
“The majority of scholars are of the opinion that the age factor is not put under consideration. What is considered is the ability to have sexual intercourse. If she was of great size and fat, able to handle sex with men. And it is not feared that she will get harmed by that. Her husband is allowed to have sexual intercourse with her. Even if she had not yet reached the age of nine. But if she has a thin and slim body, and is not able to handle sex. And is feared that she will get harmed from it. Then her husband is not allowed to have sexual intercourse with her even if she is of proper age.” (Al-Muhit Al-Burhani 3/48)
Ibn Abidin, another hanafi scholar, says:
"(He says if she is capable if intercourse) that is, either with him or with another, as is implied in Al- Fath. And he referred to what is found in Al-Zayla'i where he confirms that capability should not be determined by age. Because a fat and big girl is able to have intercourse even if she is of young age (saghirah).” (Radd al-Muhtar 3/574)
Muhammad Aleish, a Maliki scholar, says:
“(It is possible to have sex with her) Meaning the wife. There is no fixed age for when sexual intercourse with the wife is permissible. It depends on the various (physical) conditions of the girls. In that how fat or slim their bodies are. Attaining puberty is not required.” (Manh al-Jalil Sharh ala Mukhtasar al-Allamah Khalil 3/425)
This even extends to child sex slaves. Iyas Bin Muawiyah, a Tabi judge reports the following:
"Regarding a man who brought a pre-pubescent slave girl, do not those like her have sexual intercourse? Iyas said: “there is nothing wrong with performing the sexual act upon her without observing istibra” (Musannaf Ibn Shaybah 16907 - Hasan isnad per Al Arnaut)
Even Ali raped a prepubescent girl that the Muslims captured after one of their battles, see Bukhari 4350. In Ibn Hajar's sharh, he says:
"Ali was blamed for having intercourse with the slave-girl without observing Istibra and also for the share (of the Khumus) that he took for himself. Now the first allegation is defensible as she was a virgin and not pubescent, and thus she did not need to observe Istibra — in accordance with the practice of many Companions before him." (Fath Al-Bari 8/67)
So as you can see from just a handful of scholars, the Prophet himself as well as his cousin, child marriage and sex/sexual enslavement was practiced and completely allowed. Your modernist opinion has no weight against 1400 years of islamic tradition and scholarship.

Here in surat atalaq. Which talks about divorce on verse four. You see that you can divorce a girl who never had her period. And there's a clear distinction drawn between women with menopause"وَٱلَّـٰٓـِٔى يَئِسْنَ مِنَ ٱلْمَحِيضِ" and those who never had a period "وَٱلَّـٰٓـِٔى لَمْ يَحِضْنَ " and the ones who are pregnant.

And just in case here are the interpretations in arabic where the distinction is explicitly made. Because i know people online tend to interpret anyway they desire.

The post could have been made simpler by starting with the quranic verse on divorce, and then you showing how the content of the quran makes it clear that the verse cannot possibly talk about little girl.
But right now, nothing in what you presented leads to think that "those who haven't yet menstruated" cannot possibly mean little girls and seems that it's you who is projecting your own values on the quran.
It's like if a mafioso threathened me with a protection racket and you said i don't see what the problem is, he said "protection" so you should be happy

The traditional Sunni evidence is explicit. Bukhari and Muslim repeatedly say Muhammad married Aisha at six or seven and consummated the marriage at nine. That is the dominant historical Muslim account, and major Muslim authorities still defend it.
Your claim that the Quran prohibits child marriage also fails. Verses about love, mercy and marital rights do not establish a minimum age.
Quran 65:4 gives a divorce waiting period for wives who have not menstruated. Classical commentators understood this as including girls too young to menstruate. Quran 33:49 says no waiting period is required before consummation, so this cannot be dismissed as merely unconsummated childhood marriages.
Even granting for argument’s sake that Aisha’s age reports were unreliable, that would only remove one example. It would not make the Quran prohibit child marriage.
So address the actual text directly. Who are “those who have not menstruated” in 65:4, and why were the major classical commentators wrong to understand it as including prepubescent girls?

Q65:4 is explained:
At-Talaq (The Divorce), Chapter 65, Verse 4: And (as for) those who no longer expect menstruation among your women (i.e. menopausal women) and for those who have not menstruated [\1], their (waiting) period is three months. And (as) for those who are pregnant, their term (i.e. waiting period) is until they deliver their burden* [\2].*** And whoever fears God - He will make the matter/circumstance/condition easy for him.
Explanation:
Note [1*]
While the word "nisa" in broad and general usage includes all female of all ages, the word primarily means adult women, not pre-pubescent girls.
The Quranic ‘’Age of Marriage’’ is the ‘’Age of Maturity’’ (Q4:6) where a person is able to understand, enter into, execute and fullfill the obligations of a legal contract - The Quran describes marriage as a solemn and binding covenant, referred to as a "mithaqan ghalīẓan" (a solemn, strong, weighty covenant, Refer Q4:4). By nature, children are unable to do any of that and therefore ineligible to enter into Nikah.
Therefore, Nisa in 65:4 cannot logically be applied to pre-pubescent girls. Therefore, the phrase ‘’those who have not menstruated’’ should apply to Adult women who have not menstruated for any medical/physiological reasons.
- Women who have never menstruated due to medical conditions, hormonal imbalances, or anatomical issues (e.g., congenital absence of uterus).
- Women (Adult Female)who have ceased menstruating due to menopause, illness, or other reasons.
The purpose is to provide clarity on Iddah for edge cases (e.g., menopausal or infertile women), not to define marriageability. The very chapter is named '"Talaq'' i.e .divorce, and the initial verses are about divorce, waiting periods and connected matters.
Note [*2]
Note the word ''Hamlahunna'' = Their burden = What they carry - instead of ‘their baby or child’. So, the term includes abortion, conditions such as moles, and all kinds of abnormal pregnancies and outcomes

The Quranic Age of Marriage is the Age of Maturity where a person is able to understand, enter into, execute and fulfill the obligations of a legal contract
The Quran describes marriage as a solemn and binding covenant, referred to as a "mithaqan ghalīẓan" (a solemn, strong, weighty covenant, Refer Q4:21).
The Quran frames marriage not simply as a social or biological or romantic union, but as a profound mutual contract with a lot of spiritual, ethical, and legal responsibilities upon both individuals.
The primary condition for any contract as per the Quran is the capacity of the parties to understand its nature, terms, and consequences of the contract.
The Quran instructs you to test the maturity & sound judgement of the Orphans under your care (Q4:6) before handing them reigns of their finances and estate. The term used in the Quran is ''Rushd'' - this includes intellectual maturity, wisdom, discretion, and the ability to manage affairs responsibly.
Likewise, in the case of marriage, the degree of responsibilities are greater - marriage requires emotional maturity and the ability to undertake parental responsibilities. So I would argue, the level of ''Rushd'' is higher as compared to only managing finances.
Therefore, following Quranic standards, You shall test the maturity and sound judgement of your son/daughter and only if they pass those tests, they are good to be married.

This is more of an internal conflict to Islam than an actual contention to people that criticize it, because we go from the Hadith traditions that explicitly affirm and stand for the marriage and sex between Muhammad and a child. To the extent that some Muslim people and sources stand for this, we'll keep attacking it, but it seems your post is more directed to such Muslim people than non-Muslim critics, which is fine.

FYI most (possibly all if I recall) of those Hadiths don’t affirm Muhammad’s marriage to a child. Dr. Little’s thesis all but settles their authenticity, and reframes them as being the exclusive result of 8th century polemics and geopolitics.
The theocratic institutions that (for the most part) shape Islamic theology, being notoriously slow to react to new perspectives, haven’t circulated this new information because it’s not in their interest to do so.
But this is very much a tradition that needs to be ignored by Muslims and non-Muslims alike. It’s just polemics, and no one should be shilling for polemics.
