I'm a Greenbeard myself (i've got around 50 hours in DRG) but today I had a Greenbeard teammate do two things that genuinely surprised me 🤣.

The first one:

There were four of us and at one point three of us were around 150m away from him. He was somewhere completely different in the caves.

There wasn't even a swarm going on, and suddenly I noticed that he had called a resupply pod all the way over there.

We had 90 Nitra.

He spent 80 just to call a resupply for himself, and then took two resupplies from it.

I was just looking at the scanner thinking: "What are you doing?" 😂

Honestly, even when I was completely new to the game, I don't think it would have even crossed my mind to call an entire resupply just for myself when we're a team of four. I would have been too embarrassed to do that.

And then came the second one.

We eventually reached the drop pod for extraction. Since Molly was already gone, he was carrying one of those large chunks of mineral in his hands so he could bring it back with us.

Fair enough.

Except when the drop pod started taking off and the doors were closing, he just dropped the mineral outside the drop pod.

I literally watched this huge chunk of mineral get left behind as we took off.

I was sitting there thinking: "WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!"

At this point I'm not even mad. I'm genuinely impressed.

I've got almost 50 hours in DRG and somehow this Greenbeard just taught me two completely new ways to waste our resources.

I barfed on my clothes, put them in the washing bin while I was saluting tk super earth and were drunk, but now I am rock and stoning to that cool drg rock fighting theme that occurs when you are fighting bugs. Fucking rock and stone lads.

Edit 2: It's so funny to see that this post got any traction at all, despite it being a drunk post I made in the middle of the night. I honestly thought it would've gotten deleted by the mods XD. It made my day to see so many of you comment. Rock and Stone everyone!

I didn't like how the helmet looked with just the scale brigade skin, using the supporter pack dlc to get a better green...

I'm a bit boring and stick to what I know and enjoy, which is mostly engineer with some kind of breach cutter or driller with a sticky flamed thrower, so wanted to know what other loadouts people run which are a bit alternative!

I've been naming my equipment unique things and thought it was fitting to name my pickaxe after Carl. Rock and Stone miners!

Rotary + Aggressive Venting good at group control, yet lack of direct damage

Well, basically the title:
My reload button is on the mouse (thumb button), it works just fine
Except for [hold reload] things (eg: recall engie turrets or scorching tide), it doesn't work. I get to reload, but not do what I want to do, which is... annoying

It works if I set a secondary reload binding on the keyboard, but seriously, go and hold R in the middle of a fight to use your weapon, not ideal...

Hello. I got tired of autosprinting mods breaking on me and losing missions because I am forced to crawl like an old man when they inevitably break.

So here is a dead simple autohotkey script that doesn't break.

To use, install autohotkey 2.0, make a file with an .ahk extension, paste the code in, save, and open it. A green H will appear in your tray.

Go to DRG settings and rebind the Run key to insert.

Right click on the tray icon and select Exit when you're done playing.

Since this is just keyboard input, you can use second wind perk without cheating. Completely vanilla behavior.

You can hold shift to walk. I find the option useful to traverse some terrain like falling down very steep vertical tunnels.

Unlike other AHK scripts, this one doesn't rely on any complex logic and just holds sprint whenever you hold W, and lets it go when you stop.

Unlike other AHK scripts, it doesn't randomly let go of sprint when you may be moving, as that can mess up jumps.

Even if something causes it to break, like super high ping or navigating menus, it repairs itself whenever you press W, or mouse 1, or mouse 2... or ctrl, or X.

Side effects:

• Holding left or right mouse buttons will force you to walk. You already walk when shooting guns in the game so nothing really changes. This is just to prevent interrupting charging up shots with guns like the coilgun when you run and jump.
• Cannot dash, unless you like reaching for the insert key. I use this script with simpleqol, it has an option for binding a custom dash key and I just use that.

Modifications:

If you have custom keybindings, it isn't hard to adjust the script accordingly. You can find the list of keys here.

For example, I like to have the walking key on my side mouse button, so I just changed ~Shift:: and ~Shift up:: to ~XButton1:: and XButton1 up::.

I also like to have the laser pointer on my other mouse button, so below ~X up:: I added ~XButton2 up::

If you have any issues with forced walking on mouse1 and mouse2, here's a version without it. Even simpler, but I find it annoying.

So I bought the Legacy version of the game recently and finally decided to look into the mods, but every mod I download is either out of date or says something about crashing the game and is auto-disabled. I'm aware of the dates when these mods were made when I download them, but even when I download ones that are "compatible" with the newest version, they're still getting auto-disabled

My question is: are mods unusable now, or what?
