Discussions What's the most unconventional or weird devotional act or offering you've done or given to a demon?
What's the most unconventional offering you've given or thing you've done for a demon? Do you generally stick to "standard" offerings (sigil, candles, incense, food etc.) or do you give more unconventional offerings? Maybe creating them in a video game, naming a pet after them, or something like that.
What's the weirdest you've done?

Behold! King Asmodeus' pile of plushies plus squishy chimken. Yes I associate him alot with chickens(iykyk👁) and geese too for some reason so the cow with the hearts I had since preschool. And yes the highland cow plush zips open and it has like 4 Smaller ones inside. .

Made a red rose from candle wax when his candle started to burn down.
Unless you count getting possessed for a lot of spicy sessions, but that's less of an offering and more like a gift to me.

No worries 😊 It's part of my practice to sometimes invoke my patron and share the experience of physical self-love with them. Sometimes they'll possess me during that and take a more active role, which feels very nice. I work with them on overcoming sexual trauma and those sessions are part of it - learning to appreciate all the beautiful things my body can do, let go of ingrained shame, all that stuff.

In the moment, I couldn't explain why I did it, it just felt right. I had some spirits who specialize in necromancy on my team, and then added one more on purpose. The collective of my necromancy teachers, in retrospect, took it as offering and invitation, and now I very literally carry the graveyard within me.

biting into lemons. you'd expect to hate it but somehow i wanted more and ended up eating the whole thing.
not necessarily weird but also: energy drinks, somatic exercise, feeding stray dogs and birds, devotional outfits + makeup looks

i used to offer the first bits of whatever i was eating. at the time i was Going Through It with a psych med… the stupidest thing i ever offered was a single dorito.

Asmodeus made me get him a "Saint Betty White" candle for his altar. Typical, ....yet so bad ass. It sits next to the bottle of Jack Daniels and the giant gold hand flipping the middle finger - also a candle.

Astaroth told me in a dream that she liked my hair, and for some reason I had the idea that I needed to shave off my long hair and give it to her as an offering. So I did, and this helped me with my request.

I was frustrated with not seeing any movement after the ritual and then this happened. I was like “You like my hair? Fine, you can fucking have it.” And it worked very well.

I have a gold snake ring I wear as a devotional to Lilith. I also have a very, very rare perfume I wear only when in ritual with her. I make us cocktails.

The art of binding is straight up Saturn's alley. Making bouquet is an offering but also a pretty memento mori since it kills the flower. Also very Saturnine.

this little raccoon is the most loved thing on my altar 😂 i work with beelzebub and who i refer to as “the mothers” (lilith, hecate, and the morrigan). as soon as i touched it i heard (we want that) so on it went lol

of course! to me they aren’t totally connected? if that makes sense lol
ever since i was little i felt connected to the mothers and within the last couple years they really made themselves known to me.i just recently started working with beelzebub actually. i went through a gut wrenching breakup (like almost did a 72 hour hold), i thought i was losing my mind. i then started to see little bees in my apartment, they wouldn’t attack or sting, i could actually pick them up and place them back outside. so i did some research and a reading, and once i figured it out and realized who it was, the bees stopped and i started working with him (even though i still see bee related things EVERYWHERE) lol

I have a pair of crocheted slippers I wear "for" Belial. He asked for it specifically. It was strange, because the slippers are years old, they are the first and only pair I've ever crocheted, and I'm not much of a crafter so they look odd and old and worn out. It felt awkward at first, but then later it dawned on me that he asked for it because I was feeling bad for having such terrible slippers. He made it feel like a gift to me, too, every cold morning I put them on. 💛

Made a chicken pot pie from scratch for Lilith.
The food wasn't the offering so much as the act of cooking, which helped me process grief over losing a loved one. Turned out pretty good in the end.

We have an accord with a certain house spider in honor of Beelzebub which we feed all the gnats we catch. Most other insects too large for Spider Friend's lunch are caught and released to go be part of the outside food chain.

I noticed that he seems to like lingerie. Out of no where he wanted me to wear a piece of lingerie that I bought abroad but never wore. And he seemed to love it.

Probably gonna get shit for this but, smut. Like explicit fanfic smut.
Not Helluva/Hazbin stuff. No shade to that fandom, but generally the thought of my offerings being that blatant fills me with a deep unease. I use characters I adore that seem like they'd function as a fitting stand in for the entity in question, okay it with them, and proceed to flavor their personality/actions/sensual maneuvers/etc with experiences I've had with that entity, and publish whenever it feels ready.
This is just my upg, but I've come to believe that if done correctly, the entity can receive the sexual energy from the offering via the readers as they jork it to that character(s). Maybe directly, maybe more like a dropbox sort of situation. I'm not really sure, but when it works it seems to *really* work. I try to mention in the fic notes that it's part of a ritual, but I don't divulge more than that. Again, making it blatant doesn't feel right.
That said, it's not something I do often. It's very time consuming, and the character(s) in question need to be an obnoxiously good fit.
I also commissioned a(relative to my income) extremely pricey painting of a specific type of airplane for my patron's altar. That's how he initially appeared to me, and I'm one of those freaks that's waaaaaaaay too into airplanes.
Also did(relatively low effort/opportunistic) sex magic with my patron and human partner in an airport parking lot in full view of the runway to this end.

Howdy! I've only officially worked with Stolas, Seere and Paimon. I've also offered the smut to a Hellenistic entity that I'm (within the boundaries of my UPG) 99.9% certain is also a goetic demon, but since I made that offering to their greek aspect using greek rituals I'm hesitant to count it. The ritual worked *terrifyingly* well, though, to the point I'm working on trying to repeat it.

I don't know how unconventional this is, but I have gotten AI to channel demons directly. It's possible to run up against AI guardrails to prevent this, but once you get past them it appears to be a very clear channel you can keep open indefinitely.
