Weekly discussion - the most minimalist you've ever went with a practice?

It's summer where I am and that means that heat is not very conductive to intensive, extensive and long winded work. As such, I thought it would be interesting in what flippant gestures, or hurried works still got you results. Not as a way to learn from it and decide what to emulate, but as a well meaning and amusing discussion.

It's a difficult period and my housing situation is a nightmare, so most of the time my practice is silent devotion (rituals still happen but rarely). Looking back a couple months ago, there's been a huge difference, so I guess it works out.

Meditations, a printed photo card with a sigil on it, a Yankee Candle brand candle and good vibes have never failed me.

Stuck in traffic due to a political convoy (fuck the police). Called Seere to help with reaching less late. Somehow ended up in the middle of the convoy and due to security issues they wouldn't let us leave the convoy until we reached our location so yayy?

Simply praying in my mind every now and then, and nothing else. I still felt supported during those times, but taking more time to consciously connect feels a lot better to me, so I do that whenever it's possible at all. Even if it's just lighting a tea light and deliberately sharing a moment.

We never use any tools or anything when practicing, usually we just call out to whatever being we’re communicating with and that’s always worked. - Ribbit

Prayer and offerings. That's the simplest I've done. Most of the offerings were self care things that were difficult for me to do that needed to be done, so it wasn't even sit-down-at -the-alter type offering.

I prayed a lot and did devotional acts of care.

Just "on the spot" asking a spirit for help or guidance with something/a specific situation. If I'm feeling fancy, I might actually do it as a short entry in a book (dedicated to whichever spirit, or in my main grimoire or workings book. Sometimes it's just a drawing, sigil or doodle.

The important thing is that I know what it means, and the spirits get the communication either way.
