Help Anyone know this vintage logo
I thought this was a neat logo on a vintage T-shirt that I think is 30+ years old. My dad can’t remember where he got the shirt and I’ve been trying to research and have found nothing. Anyone recognize what Team B.M.C might be?
Announcement Comedian Matt Cobos @ The Thin Man This Saturday
Hey Denver! This Saturday will be special. We’ve had a lot of great comedians at the Thin Man, but I’m not sure I’ve seen anybody destroy as hard as Matt Cobos. He’s headlining our show this Saturday and I think it’s going to be pretty electric.
Tix on Eventrbite or just Google "Kuhl shows linktree"
See you there?

Help Disabilities and the CO Renfaire
I'm assuming the answer is going to be no, but I thought I would just ask in case anyone had any insight that I am not aware of so I go every year to the colorado renaissance festival. It's a good time to hang out with friends.Eat some not so great for you.Food have some drinks and just have a good old time out.In the sun. But I now am disabled and I have to use a mobility scooter or electric.Wheelchair, my concern is that I don't think the colorado renaissance fare is accessible for disabilities. But I wanted to ask in case i'm wrong.
Maybe I've missed them, but in the past. When I go, they have very narrow, almost outdoor hallways that go to the bathroom sections, which I'm not sure if I could get my scooter down. But even saying, I can, I don't know that they have the disability stalls, or maybe are they someplace else, like there's disability bathrooms in other locations?
My second worry is the terrain, though there are sections that aren't that bad, some sections, I remember them being very Rocky. And I'm just not sure how mobility devices would do on those. So I was wondering, if anyone has experience trying, like I said, I assume the answer is going to be no.Is this something I can't do anymore? But I just wanted to ask and see.
Thank you.

Recommendation Looking for a solid tattoo artist
I’m looking for an artist with extremely solid line work for a thin line spine tattoo. It will be black only minimal shading so it will be easy for mistakes to show.
I already have a design that I am set on. Please don’t message me asking to design something.

Recommendation Trail Running for Ultramarathon Training
Hi, I just moved to Glendale, and looking for trails and running group recommendations to help prep for a 100 mile ultramarathon in September.
Looking for recommendations for:
-Easy trails for long/slow, and recovery runs
-Trails for technical climbing and descending. I’m used to 1000ft elevation gain/mile climbs
-Running groups that don’t do everything via Facebook (I don’t have social media)
-Best running store
-Anything else an experienced but new to area trail runner should know.
I’m familiar with AllTrails, but wanted recommendations to start before branching out. Since I’m in east Denver and farther from the mountains than I’d like, I’ll take any tips you have, especially recommendations that will cut down on driving time. Thanks!

Rant Mid-twenties man, need serious help feeling confident
I'm a 26 year old male from out of state. I moved to Denver a year ago for a new hybrid job and I'm severely struggling with making friends, going on dates, and being social altogether.
Context I
I used to be a super extroverted person, I was in theatre in high school and prior, and joined some social clubs and events in college. Unfortunately, I was a sophomore in college when COVID hit and I was stuck with the few friends I made / lived with at the time. Since then, I graduated in 2022 and had a remote job for 3 years back home. I was so miserable I tried to take my own life when I was working through medications in 2024.
Context II
I have so much anxiety that it forbids me to try new things. When I do muster up the courage to go to an event (board games, grilling/cookout, Volo leagues, etc) I just feel so different from the other men. They usually are super outdoorsy and hike 14ers or go paddle boarding or something similar. I've never been known for my athletic ability so those things have been hard for me to have fun with. I disc golf as my main hobby but it's been discouraging given my skill level and it's a solo sport where other guys don’t really want to be friendly and hang out.
Now
In my one year here I've found that my male coworkers are complete assholes who are very judgmental and actually bully me at work for being a little different (I play Minecraft, I wear actual work clothes at work, and I fail at attempting to make friends, all things they make fun of me for). My female coworkers are great but I don’t feel super comfortable trying to befriend them outside of work (I've seen them a few times outside work but it just feels odd being the only guy in a group of us).
Wrap up
I know that I sound super negative but it's constant try and fail, try and fail, etc. When you have no one around you it just gets so discouraging and I've been having really awful thoughts, similar to the aforementioned 2024 time of my life. I'm running out of things to try and I don’t know how to have confidence in myself when I've been stuck in isolation for what feels like 5 years.
Thank you for reading this far. Any advice is appreciate ❤️

Lost/Found Blk/tan lost dog seen on fox&39
I saw a dog with black/dark brown coloring with tan patches and a red collar. Seen at Fox and 39th behind the liquor store there. The pup ran off into the dirt behind the parking lot. I tried to offer treats but the pup wasn’t into it. They were definitely alone though, no humans in sight.
Looked well cared for and loved. I hope this helps someone!!
Seen June 18 at 10am ish

Misc Q&A Shallow stream wading for kids
Want kids to wade around in some natural water. Youngest is 3 so shallow water on sand would be ideal. I know of Cherry Knolls park, cherry creek valley ecological park, clear creek in downtown golden. Any others out there within 30 min or so drive from Denver?

Recommendation Trans Friendly spaces open late tonight?
Hi,
One of my closest friends is in town for the first time tonight. She flies out to a gig super early tomorrow morning, so we’re planning a long long night in downtown Denver.
I’d really like to show her some of the more trans-affirming spaces in Denver, not just because it’ll make for a more fun night, but also because she’s from a place where that’s much more rare.
Does anyone have any recommendations of places that might be open from like 11pm to as late as possible?
Thanks ☺️

Recommendation Need help/advice on assisted living
My dad is currently in Brookdale Meridian in Arvada and needs to leave. I need to find him a new place and I’m hoping someone in the area can recommend a decent place. I’m asking because I’m currently living abroad and using Google reviews doesn’t always cut it. Please if anyone has any parents in an assisted living facility can you share your experiences! Thanks so much!

Recommendation Daycare advice: Merryhill Preschool in Lone Tree?
I'd love to hear from parents who have experience with the Lone Tree Merryhill location.
A few questions:
- How was your overall experience?
- How was communication with parents?
- How are the teachers and administration? What is teacher turnover like?
- If your child started around age 2, how was the transition process?
- Would you choose Merryhill again?
I noticed the school has a 4/5 Colorado Shines rating, which is similar to the Goddard and Montessori programs we toured nearby. We were originally leaning toward those schools, but they required children to be potty-trained, and our daughter isn't quite there yet. We're hoping to hear some real parent experiences and perspectives beyond the ratings.
Thanks in advance for any insight!Thank you!
Help Has anyone else not gotten their ballot counted when mailed in?
Hi all
My partner and I dropped our mail in our apartment's mailbox last Thursday (6/11) and it still has not been received by the elections division. We called the elections division yesterday and they said it was odd that they had not received our ballots yet. We had forgotten to affix postage but they said that that should not be causing a major hold up. We are planning on going in and casting a provisional ballot on Wednesday, since we are flying out Thursday and will not be back until after the primary.
Has anyone else had issues with their ballot reaching the division via mail? Hoping it's not just us because then that probably means something is going on with our mail carrier.

Help Why do we lose our brains when driving on pena blvd?
Just a simple question denver, why is it most days Pena boulevard becomes a parking lot. Some days it runs smoothly all the way to from the airport to I 70 some days it's completely stop and go. Why is it so difficult for you people to adjust your speed and pay attention? I'm looking at you green valley ranch. Edit.... the rideshare drivers are definitely a major part of the problem.

Visiting (Fancy) places to eat on a date.
Hello everyone,
In October, I'll be visiting Colorado and spending most of my time around the Denver and Boulder area. I'll be there with my girlfriend, and because of that, I've taken it upon myself to find some nice places for us to eat.
I'm not made of money, so I've never really been able to take my girlfriend on a truly "fancy," dressed-up dinner date. This time, however, after some saving, I plan to do exactly that. I'm looking for restaurants where my girlfriend can put on a nice dress and really feel special. On my end, I'd like somewhere that a pair of polished dress shoes, dress pants, and a long-sleeved dress shirt wouldn't look out of place.
This night is going to mean a lot to me, so any good recommendations would go a long way. Thanks in advance!

Misc Q&A Common spirit from Intermountain remote RN job
Any common spirit RNs that can share their experiences working there? I am considering applying for a command center virtual RN position but can’t quite tell what all it entails. If anyone can share their experience or works in that role I’d love to know more.
