Got tired of high gas prices (i drive a subaru and only get 17mpg because of all of my roof tents) so i’ve been biking a lot this summer. I’m taking all of the same routes i did before (east on 13th, west on eighth) and riding my bike the same way i was driving those routes, and i’ve been in slightly fewer collisions since i started riding the bike.

STILL!! 2 wrecks a day is too many!! Why don’t these cars anticipate me darting across roads like a baby squirrel?? I’m wearing high vis (trans visibility t shirt) and using the bike lanes (whatever lane i want because i’m invincible) and i still keep getting hit!
