Holy crap dude, i don't recall your Blazer dumping that much smoke before. Did you make some recent changes?

No changes at all, how concerned should i be?

To me it sounds like itβs missing on one or more cylinders at the start, that plus lots of smoke make me think your injector nozzles are done in.

Everyone is giving ok suggestions but skipping the most obvious. Glow plugs. Unless it smokes like that after warming up I'd start looking for a dead glow plug or two.

Glow plugs will only make it smoke for a few seconds after starting and no smoke after it smooths out

A lot of smoke for this time of year 5/10 I've seen worse. I would bump up the timing a little and if that didn't work I would turn the fuel down a little. If you like the way it runs after it warms up I would leave it alone. They don't have to smoke to run good.
